SPORTING LICENSES Each competitor and TM must possess a valid FAI license and must be on the FAI database OFFICIAL LANGUAGES English & Slovak AWARDS FAI medals and diploma will be awarded to the first, second and third place individuals and teams in the senior and junior championships. PARTICIPATION Each National Aero club / National Federation may enter a team consisting of 3 seniors, 3 juniors, team manager, team manager s assistant, 2016 European senior Champion, 2016 European junior Champion, one time keeper, helpers, supporters, press representative. TIMEKEEPERS Each National Team may participate with one timekeeper for whom the Organizer will provide full board and lodging, local transportation, banquet, souvenirs at the European Championship. The time keepers are requested to bring their own binoculars, tripod and stopwatches. FLYING SITE LOCATION The flying site is on Turcianske Jaseno hills close to city of Martin (12km), flying from Velka Fatra hills, in beautiful valley with fantastic scenery. Centre of championship will take place in Valca valley, where are enough accommodation capacities of all categories. Organizer will prepare program for every day for all participants of championship and will make a space for passing free time together. In Valca valley is also enough space for camper parking. Arrival is possible by D1 highway or E50 from west / east and by route Nr.65 from south. Air connection is possible to Bratislava (250km), Poprad (120km), Kosice (260km). NATIONAL ANTHEM AND FLAGS Each team has to bring its own - 2 pieces of national flag and CD with national anthem. INSURANCE The organiser will provide third party insurance in accordance with paragraph B.8.9 of Volume ABR of the FAI Sporting Code only. Any other type of insurance should be covered by the participants. Citizens from EU must bring EC-111 health insurance certificate. Non EU citizens must provide own insurance and a copy must be enclosed to the final entry. During the contest days the ambulance with doctor will be at disposal. We would like to kindly ask all competitors to order accommodation through the Organizer of the European Championships, in order to avoid double booking, because the accommodation occupancy of the resort, Snowland, we already reserved for this event. We do not raise prices. We have chosen the accommodation for competitors based on previous knowledge from happy competitors from different sport events. Moreover, during the Championship all side events will take place in Snowland and the most important, whole contest will be organized from this place (see paragraph FLYING SITE LOCATION ).
