Sea to Sea Marathon Runners' Briefing Updated December 1, 2018 Welcome to the Tobago International Sea to Sea Marathon. This briefing is designed to provide you a guide to a safe and enjoyable race. We want our race participants to be prepared for the rules and regulations and general conduct of the event. There will also be a verbal briefing at the start lines of the races. Please read through this document carefully. A copy of the briefing will also be available at the Official Marathon booth at the Marathon Village. If you have any questions please contact us at info@seatoseamarathon.com. Race Course The Sea to Sea Marathon race course is certified by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and Association of International Marathons (AIMS). The race course will start in the Main Ridge Forest Reserve near Bloody Bay on the Caribbean Sea, proceed through the forest to Roxborough, Tobago s second largest town located on the Atlantic Sea coast. Athletes will then run west along Windward Road flanked by the Atlantic coast with seaside vistas, through picturesque villages to the capital Scarborough and onto the 26.2 mile finish line in Lambeau Beach, Little Rockly Bay on the Atlantic Ocean. We call it The Beautiful Challenge. The Half Marathon, 10K and 5K are also on the same route and all end at the same finish line in Lambeau (Petit Trou) Beach in Lowlands, Tobago. Race Locations START: There will be 4 races: 1. 5k race will start in Scarborough at 6:00AM on Saturday May 18, 2019 2. 10k race will start in Bacolet at 6:30AM on Saturday May 18, 2019 3. Half marathon will start in Goodwood at 5:00AM on Sunday May 19, 2019 4. Marathon will start in the Main Ridge Forest Reserve at 5:00AM on Sunday May 19, 2019 FINISH: All 4 races end in the Marathon Village which will be located at Lambeau Beach (Petit Trou), Little Rockly Bay, close to Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort/Tobago Plantations in Lowlands, Tobago.
