All teams are guaranteed 3 games. TEAMS PAYING IN FULL BY DECEMBER 20th 2018 WILL BE ENTITLED TO A $50 FEE REDUCTION ($850) $400.00 deposit required with entry forms. Team roster: Your entry fee of $900.00 or final payment must accompany your team roster. Roster experience rating form must be filled out and submitted to be registered in the tournament. Changes to the roster must be submitted 30 days prior to the tournament. Information: Confirmation email will be sent upon receipt of your entry fee and acceptance to the tournament. Cheques will not be cashed unless accepted into the tournament. Your team must be prepared to play Friday morning with the minimum of ten players. All team players must be CARHA members. Ladies All female participants must be 19 yrs of age at time of tournament or older. We will make every attempt to ensure that the divisions are full. But if we have a high level of interest for 1 division and minimal on the other we will downsize accordingly Deadline: Early entry fee returns will be given consideration for priority times over later cheques received. (i.e. - all cheques received will be dated). Cancellation: If you cancel within 30 days prior to the tournament, your entry fee is non-refundable unless the tournament management can find a replacement team. Don't be disappointed!!!! Rules All teams are guaranteed 3 games 1. All C.A.R.H.A. rules are in effect 2. All helmets must be C.S.A. approved (NO JOFA) 3. Goalies must wear C.A.R.H.A. approved face masks (NO CAT EYES ALLOWED) 4. All referee calls are final 5. Games are as follows: 5 min warm up, two 20 min stop time periods (no ice clean) 6. Mercy rule is in effect; if there is a 5 goal difference, the last 5 mins of the game will be running time and will not revert back to stop time if the 5 goal difference in reduced to 4 goals or less. 7. All games have 6 points available: 2 pts per period 2 pts for the game 8. If teams are tied at the end of the round robin the tie breaking system is as follows: 1. head to head if teams are still tied 2. goal ratio Goals for Goals for + goals against Eg: 10 =.588 10 + 7 3. if teams are still tied then the team with the least amount of penalty mins in the round robin will be declared the winner 4. if teams are still tied a coin toss will determine the winner
9. Final games are two 20 min stop time periods. If tied at the end of regulation time there will be a 5 min stop time sudden death period; if still tied at the end of the sudden death period there will be a 3 man shoot out; if still tied there will be a sudden death shoot out. The three players from the 3 man shoot out can not shoot in the sudden death shoot out until all other players have shot.
