The cmpany experience allws students t further develp their dance technique as well as perfrmance quality and artistry. In additin, the students develp friendships, leadership skills and enjy the pprtunity t be a part f a grup wrking tgether t create, perfrm and express themselves thrugh dance. The 2014/2015 cmpany seasn is an exciting ne with many extra perfrmance pprtunities t be enjyed. This infrmatin package is designed t utline the cmmitment level fr each level f cmpany and t assist students and their families in chsing the level f cmpany that best suits their individual cmmitment level.

DECEMEBER 18-21 KW SYMPHONY PERFORMANCE Yuletide Spectacular Centre in the Square The Carusel Dance Cmpany has been invited t perfrm with the KW Symphny. We are very excited abut this pprtunity. The perfrmance will invlve Turing Cmpany and Cmpany A dancers. Dancers will be required t cmmit t ALL f the rehearsals and perfrmances in rder t participate in the Symphny Perfrmances. Rehearsals will be held n select Saturdays fllwing Snwman rehearsals and will g n later than 6:00pm. This perfrmance invlves dancers in Turing Cmpany, Cmpany A, Cmpany B and Dance fr EveryBODY Cmpany. JUNE 2015 GUELPH CONTEMPORARY DANCE FESTIVAL This perfrmance invlves Turing Dance Cmpany nly. JULY 5-10, 2015 DANCE AND THE CHILD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE 2015 Cpenhagen Cnference and perfrmance* (pending successful applicatin). T be eligible t participate, students must have participated in Dance Cmpany A r Turing Cmpany fr a minimum f 1 year and must be able t attend all f the required rehearsals. Students must als be a minimum age f 13 at time f travel. In additin t these requirements, there are als financial, vlunteer, and fundraising cmmitments in rder t participate. AN OVERVIEW OF COMPANY COMMITMENT LEVELS AND REQUIREMENTS TOURING COMPANY (Levels 5B+) Maximum 15 dancers Turing cmpany is designed fr the mst cmmitted students wh have chsen t make dance a pririty. This special grup achieves a high level f dance and perfrmance thrugh their cmmitment, dedicatin and wrk ethic. Cmmitment Required Friday Rehearsals 4:00-5:15pm Saturday Afternn Rehearsals scheduled between the hurs f 2:30-6:00pm Wednesday & Thursday evening rehearsals during first week f September nly ccasinal Sunday rehearsals parent vlunteer cmmitment f 18 hurs annually Eligibility t participate Enrllment in Level 5B r abve Enrllment in bth ballet and mdern dance during 2014/2015 dance seasn Enrllment in cnditining classes and cmpsitin class (Level 6A and abve) cnditining classes will be held immediately fllwing TC rehearsals n Friday evenings Participatin in Dance Cmpany A fr a minimum f 1 year. Students must maintain dance technique thrughut the summer mnths and are required t: Participate in a MINIMUM f 20 drp in dance classes during June, July & August AND Participate in a minimum f ONE f the tw DANCE COMPANY PLUS prgrams during the summer Students wh have cmpleted a minimum level f 6B and ne year f turing cmpany may apply fr an LIT rle during these summer prgram weeks. The LIT rle will invlve advance planning, preparatin and chregraphy as well as leadership and instructin during the prgram week. Cmmitment Required Saturday Afternn Rehearsals rehearsals are scheduled n Saturday afternns between the hurs f 2:30-6:00pm. Dancers will nt be required fr the full time every week.
