May 2-4, 2014 The 2014 Washington State Scholastic Clay Target Program State shoot is fast approaching. The State shoot will be held at the Seattle Skeet & Trap Club in Ravensdale, on the weekend of May 2 nd thru 4 th. We want to invite all existing SCTP & USAYESS teams, as well as any 4-H team, FFA team, Scout team, individual club/team and individuals who want to join either youth shooting organization. Thanks to the generosity of the MIDWAY Foundation there will be endowment money for each qualifying team that attends, as well as endowment money for teams that place. The breakdown will be as follows; $4000 Attendance endowment to qualifying teams(to qualify your team has to host or co-host a shoot this year) Endowment for HOA TEAM --- CH=$5000, 2 nd =$4000, 3 rd =$3000, 4 th =$2000, and 5 th =$2000 $5000 Endowment for any new team that registers with the program It takes a tremendous amount of effort and cost to host the Washington State Shoot, and one of the ways to offset that cost is the State shoot Program. Usually we ask businesses and companies to purchase ad space in the Program through a donation to the state organization. We would like to ask all teams for help by soliciting one or more, but hopefully at least one sponsor from their home town, who could show support for their local team by purchasing an ad space in this year s Shoot Program Typically we would ask a $50 donation for a 1/8 th page size ad, $75 for 1/4 th page size ad, and $100 for a1/2 page size ad. If a sponsor provides us with a copy of their company s logo in electronic format, along with any wording they might want the ad to say and the donation, we will make sure it gets into the program. Sincerely, Kevin Huggins President, WASCTP WASCTP@hotmail.com 509-684-5200

Registration Notes Please fill out the registration form above, based on how you want your shooters squaded. Then pick your desired rotation/flight times by your first, second, and third choices. The rotations will be filled up based on a first come first serve basis, as we receive the returned registrations. The sooner we receive your registration, the better your chances for getting your desired rotation/flight times. All shooters must be in the same division to be considered a competitive squad, and be eligible for squad awards. Pease note that if an athlete is Bumped Up to make a competitive squad, he or she still gets to participate as an individual in their respective division. Athletes may only Bump-Up one division. Sporting Clays, Skeet, and Trap squads will be 5 man squads. So it will be 5 man squads across the board. HOA scores for OPEN TEAM will be calculated from the top 5 scores for each discipline, regardless of division or gender. 8
