CONGRATULATIONS TO MIKE THERIAULT ON HIS PROMOTION TO SANDAN - 3RD DEGREE BLACK BELT Mike started Judo with Sensei Tony Leone when Mike was a teenager (many moons ago). He stopped Judo for such things as becoming a husband, a dad, a dad, and a dad again. When Sensei Tony Leone started the Gentle Way Judo Club in 1996 Mike came back to Judo again and has been with it ever since. He also had his two sons Brian and Robert (not Bob) in the club for the last 10 years (even though they stopped training a few years ago). Mike has worked very hard for Judo and the club. His work has helped make the club what it is today. He is a teacher and a certified coach. He has always worked hard on our tournaments setting them up, putting the equipment away, working the timing and recording tables, and keeping score sheets. He has also done some refereeing. His whole family has worked for the club and our tournaments in the past. We hope Mike will remain with us for many years to come.
