Dear Member Please find below information for Membership renewals which are now due, renewals are to be completed via Lifesaving Online www.lifesavingonline.com.au All memberships must be paid by Thursday 31 July 2014 (Non financial members security bands will be deactivated) HOW TO JOIN Lifesaving Online is a self service member portal for anyone who is a member of an SLSA affiliated club/organisation or who wants to join or rejoin a club. The application allows both the public and surf club members to maintain personal information online to ensure it is correct in the SLSA member database, Surfguard. You may also use Lifesaving Online to renew SLSA surf club membership or request membership at a new SLSA Organisation. Creating an account and using Lifesaving online is free and once you have signed up you can take full control over your membership records. THE BENEFITS OF USING LIFESAVING ONLINE Renew your membership or join with the Noosa Heads SLSC Make payments to the club for membership. View all your awards and their respective proficiency dates. See a calendar of your patrol dates. Check your patrol hours for this seasons and previous years. Update your contact details. Page 1 of 15
ALREADY REGISTERED WITH LIFESAVING ONLINE Renewal is very easy now that you have already registered Go to www.lifesavingonline.com.au and simply click on Log In from the menu at the top of the page Enter your username and password and click on the Log In You will see a screen with Welcome. Just click on the click here link to renew your membership. Welcome If you are here to renew your membership at a surf club, please click here My Memberships you can view, renew, join or transfer your membership within the organisation. Page 2 of 15
To renew a membership click on the word Renew that is on the same line as the club that you wish to join. This will take you to a pre-filled in form. Check and/or correct your personal details, tick the declaration boxes and submit your application to your club. Page 3 of 15
The system will display a pre-filled in membership renewal form that contains your personal information. Check and correct information that may need updating Page 4 of 15
Complete the declaration section at the bottom of the form and hit the submit button Once you have submitted your membership form successfully your membership request will be pending approval by the club. Now that you ve updated your details electronically, renewed your membership electronically and checked your patrol roster electronically - why not pay your fees electronically too? ONLINE PAYMENT The system will then prompt you to pay your fees online should you wish to. Click on the link to access the secure payment gateway. Membership renewal is not complete until you payment has been received. To make a payment simply click the Make Payment link which will take you through the payment gateway Page 5 of 15
To view the price list simply select View Price List Simply select your transaction type from the drop down menu, type in details of your payment so that your club will be aware of what the payment is for and for whom and add an amount that you wish to pay. Page 6 of 15
Hit the Submit button and finish off the payment transaction with your credit card details. Your club will also be sent a copy of your receipt. Enter in your contact details and an email address so that your receipt can be sent to you NOT REGISTERED YET FOR NIPPER RENEWAL AND NEW NIPPERS NIPPER FAMILY MEMBERSHIP If you are renewing a family membership, you will need to create a separate membership account for each child. You must LOG OUT before creating an account for the next member in the family (5 years and above). You must use a different login name for each person (smith_billy, smith_sarah, smith_fred etc) but you are welcome to use the same password, especially for nippers accounts so you don t have to remember too many passwords. CREATE ACCOUNT If you have not already registered with Lifesaving Online, go to the Lifesaving Online website at www.lifesavingonline.com.au Click on the Create Account Box to begin the process Note: The creating of an account only has to be completed once The system will ask you if you have ever been or are currently a member of a SLSA affiliated organisation. If your answer is YES, select this option so that all your records can be brought over into lifesaving Online (Nippers details) If you are new to the Organisation select NO Page 7 of 15
Type in the answers to question 2 using the same details as recorded by the club. Tick your preferred option to have your confirmation code sent to you. We suggest that you select mobile. An SMS will be sent to you to allow you to activate your account. Alternatively an email to activate your account will be sent. Open the email and click on the link to activate your child s account. This will take you to the Welcome webpage. Type in your email/mobile details Page 8 of 15
Note: your email address or mobile phone number must match what is recorded with your club or a match will NOT be achieved Create a username and password. Record these details somewhere for safe keeping. Click on the SUBMIT button Note: Usernames must be unique however you can use the same password for all family members when creating their accounts Page 9 of 15
If you are new to the organization and would like to join a SURF CLUB click on Apply to Join a surf club. This includes you joining a surf club to obtain a Bronze Medallion to do patrols. You will now be prompted to select which organization your wish to apply for membership. 1. Select I want to join a surf club 2. Select State: Queensland Branch: select - Sunshine Coast Branch Club: select - Noosa Heads Also enter you Full First Name and Last name and correct DOB Page 10 of 15
Also enter in your full First and Last name and correct DOB Tick SMS as your preferred option to have your confirmation code sent to you. Type in your email/mobile details Create a username and password. Record these details somewhere for safe keeping. Click on the SUBMIT button If this message appears then the system has sent you your confirmation code. As a result your membership has been reduced by 50% for the new season 2014-2015. Your single fee will be $47.50 as a Senior Active member or $32.50 as a Junior Active/Cadet member. 100% DISCOUNT ON PATROL HOURS 2013-2014 You have completed 100 patrol hours in the 2013-2014 season. BLUE CARD In line with Surf Life Saving Queensland Members Protection Policy Noosa Heads Surf Lifesaving Club is committed to protecting children from harm and promoting their well being. This policy requires all members over the age of 18 years to hold a current working with children check(queensland Public Safety Business Agency). This includes police and teachers who are normally regarded as exempt under the Act. CREDIT CARD We offer credit card payments via Surf Life Saving Australia s Payment Gateway. To pay securely via credit card, visit pay.slsa.com.au and go to the Payment Gateway. Detailed instructions for using this service can be found by following this link. DIRECT BANK DEPOSIT Money can be deposited directly into the Noosa Heads SLSC bank account. It is ESSENTIAL that you include a reference in your transaction that will help us identify who made the deposit and why. Details are as follows: Bank: Westpac BSB: 034 655 Acct No: 000 429 Reference: eg1: Smith, Harry Family eg2: Jones, Mary Deposits made without a reference cannot be credited to you and a receipt cannot be issued.
