It is compulsory for all the participants to get their College Identity Cards/ ID proofs. The participants have to wear the I.D cards provided by the University during the competitions. Participants are expected to carry their own properties/materials which they intend to use in their respective acts/competitions. Each college/ Institution has to provide the name of contact person with mobile and email for further communication. Participant(s) of all the competition(s) are requested to reach 45 minutes earlier to the venue of their competition(s). The final selected list of participant(s) for English Debate/Hindi Debate, Self Poetry Recitation, Solo Song and Solo Dance/Group Dance will be displayed after screening. 2
The results of the competition(s) declared by the panel of Judges would be final. No registration or any fee shall be charged from the participant(s) Rules for Competition 1. Rangoli- A team of 3 to 5 students from each college/institution. Duration of the Rangoli competition is 2:30 hrs. Teams have to bring their own materials. Theme(s) of the Rangoli will be announced on the spot. 2. Debate (English/Hindi) Maximum one team allowed from each College/Institute. Each team will comprise of two members (one FOR THE MOTION and one FOR AGAINST THE MOTION). Topic for the Debate: English: Beauty pageants are a way to objectifying women Hindi: म डय ससर शप ज यज ह.. Time allotted to each participant will be 3+1 minutes (3 minutes for speech and 1 for refutations). The warning bell will ring at the end of 2.30 min and the final bell will ring at the end of 3 min. Marks will be deducted for exceeding the time limit. The participants will be judged on the basis of- Content Clarity of speech Language Refutation 3. Self Poetry Recitation (Hindi/English) The poem must be an original composition, else shall be disqualified. Time allotted to each participant to recite his/her composition is 3 (or) minutes. Marks shall be deducted on exceeding the time limit. The participants shall be judged on the basis of- Originality of composition Memory Time limit 4. Sketch Competition - Duration of the Sketch is 02:00 hrs. Participant have to bring own material except paper. Theme to be announced on the spot. 3
5. Dumb Charade - Maximum one team allowed from each College/Institute. Each team will comprise of 4 members. Theme is based on movie. The team that secures minimum average time will be the winner. 6. Creative Writing Competition - Duration of the writing is 1.30 hrs. Participant has to bring his own materials except paper. Topic (s) to be announced on the spot. 7. Collage Making Competition - Duration of the collage is 02:00 hrs. Participants have to bring their own material. Sheet will be provided. Broad areas: Politics, Woman, Information Technology. Specific themes(s) to be announced on the spot. Use of scissors, blades, scales, etc. not allowed. 8. Poster Making Competition - Duration of the Poster Making is 02:00 hrs. Participant have to bring own material except paper. Theme to be announced on the spot. 9. Mime - One team (6-8) or one participant from each college/institution. Time duration is 8-10 minutes. The literary piece can be an adaptation/parody of an original famous poem with some changes made to it. The literary piece can be bilingual (English and/or Hindi). Teams will be judged on the basis of- Originality of idea s Clarity of words Elements of humour Acting skills 10. Only non-filmy /Bhajan/Ghazal/ Semi Classical songs will be presented. Three accompanists will be provided by the organisers. Duration of the song shall be up to 4 minutes maximum. 4

Indian Classical Group Dance Competition - A Team from each college/institution. Team can choose any ONE of the Indian Classical Dance forms to perform. Time duration for each performance is a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes.
