RACQUET STRINGING TIP OF THE MONTH When moving from hot summer outdoor play to winter play, you may want to consider lowering your racquet string tension 3-5 pounds. Lower tensions are easier on your arm and provide more power and comfort in colder weather. As the temperature drops, your racquet and strings feel stiffer and more brittle. Try to keep your racquet indoors as much as possible. That goes for balls too. We ve all played with balls that were kept in a cold car. Your opponents underspin backhand was already enough of a problem! TRIATHLETES & VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! TRIATHLON AT WSC JANUARY 25, 2015 8 AM Join the Race to fight MS! Register at www.active.com
