Freshman team update-sarah Emig Freshman Team Picnic - At least one parent was in attendance for each player for all but maybe 3-4 players. - Approx. 6-8 siblings were in attendance. - 22 Dominos pizzas were ordered Although we had enough, due to the smaller size of the pizzas, the players could have eaten more. - Cost of pizzas was under budget. - The AD did not show up for the Freshman Team Picnic despite his email saying he would try to attend at the beginning of our picnic. - Coach Gilburg reviewed the FAQs prior to picnic and offered an update with additional important information. - T-shirts from CKC were given to players at the time of the team photo this year instead of at the picnic. This was a helpful idea suggested by Matt Schwartz. - I spoke less in front of the group and instead visited with each table of parents to review Team Snap App, introduce myself and offer to answer any specific questions they had. - Due to the Team Snap App being all set up prior to the picnic, parents felt well informed. - A few parents were able to stay afterwards to assist in the cleanup of the cafeteria. Sarah is doing an amazing job. She invited parents to the CKC meeting. Concessions Got email responses for donations. Open for Hempfield tomorrow around 4:15 Reading, Wilson, CV, Warwick, and Penn Manor games all will have concessions. We got more donations. Candy, granola bars, Gatorade for afternoon games.
