Corner Kick Club meeting September 11th, 2018 Call to order: 7:08 p.m. by Devon Brubaker Attendance: Nicole Whittaker, Natalie Mundorf, Kevin Baker, Jennifer Land, Devon Brubaker, Jennifer Russinko, Matt Schwartz, Sarah Yohe, Daneen Miller- Smith, Jill Hillard, Fred Geyer, Matt Mundorf, and Donna Buckwalter Approval of August s minutes Presidents Report Field H issues: no scoreboard on 9/13/18, sound system is now fixed. Treasurer s Report Report was emailed today Checks came from the Education Foundation Turn in receipts asap. Need to make a decision about what we are paying for the banquet at the next meeting. Coach s update Thank you to all the parents for the work they are doing. It is so nice to have all the work done. Exeter game: still trying to figure out a date. It was their fault. They didn t realize they had the game. Don t want to do it on a Saturday. It might be the last week of the season. FTK with minithon. Shirts aren t getting here on time so they asked us to move the date. September 29 th will be the new day for it. $10 a shirt.

Committee reports: Game program- Matt Schwartz Programs look great. 6 potential banquet tickets still need to come out of it. $7,300 still need to take out the cost of printing, 501c3, yard signs and shirts. We had a 37% return rate, typical is between 30-40% return rate sponsors will be announced at the end of the half at every home game yard signs will be out at the home games managers will set them up for every home game. They will be stored in the shed. Apparel- Deanna Rider It has been a challenge especially with long sleeve varsity shirts. Hopefully they will be in on Friday. Other spirit wear will be a little while. Varsity shirts are in today. They will be worn to school tomorrow. Community Project- Natalie Mundorf Baskets are in. One is at the Freshman games, middle school (Coach Gilburg s room), concession stand, and Coach Baker s room. Merchandizer sounds like it will be in the paper; however, we haven t heard anything since. Marcie Brody has things out on the social media. Girls tennis is doing something also. Boys at the end of the season will take the donated coats to the dry cleaners. Does something need to be at the JV games for collection? It was decided that it isn t needed. The coats can be brought into school or taken to the back to back games. Chipotle Night- Shannon Campagna Great job! Cross country, girls field hockey, alumni parents all supported us.

More promotion of it at school and in social media this year. They hung flyers about it everywhere. $848 over $100 more than last year. Freshman team update-sarah Emig Freshman Team Picnic - At least one parent was in attendance for each player for all but maybe 3-4 players. - Approx. 6-8 siblings were in attendance. - 22 Dominos pizzas were ordered Although we had enough, due to the smaller size of the pizzas, the players could have eaten more. - Cost of pizzas was under budget. - The AD did not show up for the Freshman Team Picnic despite his email saying he would try to attend at the beginning of our picnic. - Coach Gilburg reviewed the FAQs prior to picnic and offered an update with additional important information. - T-shirts from CKC were given to players at the time of the team photo this year instead of at the picnic. This was a helpful idea suggested by Matt Schwartz. - I spoke less in front of the group and instead visited with each table of parents to review Team Snap App, introduce myself and offer to answer any specific questions they had. - Due to the Team Snap App being all set up prior to the picnic, parents felt well informed. - A few parents were able to stay afterwards to assist in the cleanup of the cafeteria. Sarah is doing an amazing job. She invited parents to the CKC meeting. Concessions Got email responses for donations. Open for Hempfield tomorrow around 4:15 Reading, Wilson, CV, Warwick, and Penn Manor games all will have concessions. We got more donations. Candy, granola bars, Gatorade for afternoon games.

Most slots are filled. Senior Rep update- Kim Banzoff or Rosann Lee Posters are complete and have been distributed by the players throughout MT. A new company was used this year. White Oak Group. Everything went smoothly. Total cost for 40 color posters (18x24) was $350.63. Buffalo Wild Wings hung and framed it. Some business didn t wish to hang them. Varsity/senior recognition dinner will be held Wednesday Oct. 3rd at Long United Memorial Church from 6-8. The hall rental cost is $100. The Neffsville fire hall, nor any of the MT fire halls were available. The halls were converted into dorms for the volunteer fire fighters. The dinner will be catered by Pasquales. The cake will be a photo cake from BJ's. Any residual funds from the $500 allowed will be used for decorations. Senior gifts will be blankets monogrammed with the players last name and number. It will also have the MT crest. We are looking at two different companies and make our final choice soon. They will also get the traditional jackets with the crests on them. Youth Night-Matt Mundorf Monday night, might be rain. Promotion: club has done a lot with email blasts. Copy went to Marcie Brody. The rec teams had a flyer that went home with their jerseys. Sign up genius to walk the team out. 28 kids have signed up. We can do one kid with two players, if needed. We can maybe have some students volunteer that night. Eliminated ball boys and ball girls. Freshman team members will hopefully do it. Half time speech by club president, Dwayne. Still stuff from last year. Two soccer bags, balls, gift certificate, etc. to give away With ten minutes left, have an announcement all coaches and parents please meet at the opening of the field. That way they can get onto the field quickly. Greg Sallade will set up a skills competition. Speed kicking ball and hula hoop drill.

We will throw about 20 shirts into the stands, especially during the first half of the game. Wrist band to the kids who are walking them out. One point of entry to collect donations and allow club members in free with their jerseys. All Star Faculty-Becky Schwartz Players form all came back. All teachers have been contacted. 10 of the 11 can attend. Great responses came back from the teachers. Contact Dr. Felty and the school board about it. Senior game night-fred Geyer/Suzanne Reed We are following our helpful document from last year! :) Suzanne plans to call the flower lady this week to get those taken care of. Mylar balloons will be used so they can last one week to be used again. Coach Michaud will read the bios. Motion to adjourn at 7:56 pm by Jennifer Land. Seconded by Matthew Schwartz. Next Meeting will be October 10, 2018 7 p.m. November meeting will Wednesday, November 14, 2018 7 p.m. since the banquet will be the 2 nd Wednesday.
