Rules and regulations of the tournament Adidas Tango League I. THE ORGANISER 1. The organiser of the event Adidas Tango League, hereinafter called the Tournament is Allegro Sp. z o.o Sp. K. having its principal business seat in Warsaw, in ul. J. Słowackiego 19a, entered into the business register of the District Court of the Capital City of Warsaw, XII Commercial Division of the National Court Register as number KRS 0000418906, NIP: 113-283-19-51. 2. Allegro Sp. z o.o Sp. K., having its principal business seat in Warsaw, in ul. J. Słowackiego 19a, entered into the business register of the District Court of the Capital City of Warsaw, XII Commercial Division of the National Court Register as number KRS 0000418906, NIP: 113-283-19-51, is the co-organiser of the Tournament providing other services and benefits to contestants. 3. Prizes are sponsored by Adidas Poland Sp. z. o.o, ul. Żwirki i Wigury 18a, 02-092 Warsaw. II. DATE AND VENUE 1. The tournament will be staged on 2 December 2017 in Warsaw at The Institute of Power Engineering, ul. Mory 8 (01-330 Warsaw). 2. The Organiser reserves the right to change the Tournament date and/or venue, while the Contestant shall be notified about such change by means of a relevant announcement posted on the website www.adidas.pl/tangoleague hereinafter called the Website. The above changes do not imply any additional obligations of the Organiser towards the Contestant. 3. The starting time and the venue of the Tournament shall be announced on the Website. The Organiser reserves the right to change the time of the Tournament and commits itself to communicate it to the Contestant on the Website. III. TERMS AND CONDITION OF REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATION ( TERMS AND CONDITIONS ) 1. In order to participate in the Tournament, it is necessary to correctly fill in and submit the Registration Form on the website www.adidas.pl/tangoleague. The Registration Form is submitted electronically on the Website. By filling this Registration Form, the Contestant accepts these Rules and Regulations. The Organiser reserves the right to reject all and any Registration Forms that are suspected of being filled in an untruthful manner and to disqualify any contestant in relation to whom there are reasonable grounds to believe that he or she has violated these Terms and Conditions. 1
2. The Organiser reserves the right to set the limit for the number of Contestants of the Tournament. Should the limit be exceeded, the Organiser reserves the right to terminate the registration earlier, what shall be communicated on the website. 3. Participation in the Tournament depends on the Contestant's approval of the content as well as terms and conditions specified in Rules and Regulations and the consent to the processing of personal data in line with provisions of the Act of 29 August 1997 on the protection of personal data (consolidated text): Journal of Laws from 2002, No 101, pos. 926, as amended) and these Rules and Regulations. 4. The Organiser reserves the right, for itself as well as for its related entities, to conduct interviews with each Contestant and any accompanying person(s), take pictures and/or film footage, use names, surnames, images, likeness or voice and other materials originating from or related to participation in the Tournament for the purpose of advertising, promotion as well as their possible use in the Internet or radio and television broadcasts and for any other commercial purposes, including any other lawful commercial uses, including the right to their modification. The Organiser also reserves the right, for itself as well as for its agents and related entities, to worldwide free-of-charge use of all and any photographs, film footage, interviews and sound recordings of the Contestants. Such photographs, materials, interviews and recordings may be released on selected electrical carriers, in catalogues and media with no compensation paid to the Contestant, and may be used for advertising, promotion and any other commercial purposes related to the activities conducted by the Organiser and its related entities. At the same time, the Contestant acknowledges that the use of his/name, image, likeness, voice or bio may imply changes, modifications and abbreviations to thereof. The Contestant hereby declares that the Organiser and its related entities are not and shall not be obliged to pay any fees related to the rights described herein. The Contestant grants the Organiser and its related entities a license unlimited in time and territory to use the Contestant's statements, information, and ideas for any purpose, without the obligation to notify the Contestant and with no payment for the Contestant, in particular for the purpose of advertising and promotion. 5. Participation in the Tournament is free of charge. 6. Insurance. The Tournament is insured by the Organiser. However, the Organiser does not provide any life, health or liability insurance for sickness, accident, injury, death or any loss or damage that may occur as a result of presence and/or participation in the Tournament. Contestants are advised, if they consider it necessary, to purchase an appropriate insurance policy. The Organiser reserves the right to authorise medical personnel and paramedics employed by or on behalf of the Organiser to provide first aid or perform other medical procedures, as well as to transport an injured Contestant to a safe place. The Contestant hereby consents to the above. The Contestant is responsible for any medical or transport costs incurred by the Organiser, his or her associates, medical personnel and paramedics providing support services for the Tournament which result from sickness, accident or injury suffered in connection with the Contestant's presence or participation in the Tournament. Contestants compete in the Tournament solely at their own risk and responsibility. All Contestants hereby acknowledge that participation in the Tournament involves physical effort and entails natural risks and accident hazards, the possibility of physical injury (including death) as well as property damage and loss. In addition, Contestants may be exposed to other risk factors which are unforeseeable at this point in time. By submitting a correctly filled in Registration Form to the Organiser, the Contestant confirms that he/she has considered and assessed the nature, extent and degree of risk involved in participation 2
in the Tournament and has voluntarily decided to take the risk by competing in the Tournament solely at his/her own risk. The Contestant hereby declares that he/she will not take any actions which are detrimental to the Organiser. The Contestant hereby declares that he or she shall reimburse to the Organiser all and any costs (including attorneys' and expert fees) incurred or paid by the Organiser to any other person (including the Contestant and/or any of his or her insurers) in connection with any accident, loss, damage or injury (including death) resulting from the Contestant's presence or participation in the Tournament, exclusive of accidents caused by negligence on the part of the Organiser. 7. Transport. All Contestants are committed to travel to the Tournament venue at their own expense. The Organiser does not provide the Contestants with transportation to the Tournament. 8. No restrictions concerning gender. 9. Age restrictions. All Tournament Contestants must be born after 2 December 2001, or be at least 16 years old as of the Tournament Date. The upper age limit is 25 years, which means that anyone born before 2 December 1991 is not eligible for the Tournament. During registration, the Contestant must hold an identity document to verify the data, including his/her date of birth. In the case of registration of minors, "Parent's or Guardian's Declaration on the child's ability to participate in sports and recreation activities" (this document is available for download) with the signature of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to participation of a minor in the tournament and assumes the responsibility for thereof must be attached to the Registration Form. 10. Other restrictions applicable to participation in the Tournament. It is strictly prohibited to bring any objects to the Tournament venue that may pose hazard to other Contestants. Due to the profile of the Tournament, drugs, illegal substances and alcoholic beverages of any kind are also prohibited. Contestants are forbidden to use and possess the above-mentioned products and substances both before and during the tournament. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse the admission to the tournament of persons who are found to have used or possess any drugs, illegal substances and alcoholic beverages of any kind. 11. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify a Contestant who is found not eligible for the tournament. The Contestant hereby agrees to abide by all rules and regulations that apply to participation in the tournament, and especially the rules of fair play. IV. RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE TOURNAMENT 1. Each game in the group phase shall last 5 minutes, and 8 minutes in the consecutive knock-out phase. 2. All games are played in the 4 vs. 4 format. 3. There is a penalty area marked out on the pitch whose line shall not be trespassed. It is admissible to kick a ball located within the penalty box, only when the player does not enter the marked out penalty area. 4. Goals may be only scored from outside the penalty box; teams are playing without the goalkeeper. 5. No more than 24 teams may take part in the Tournament. 6. Teams are split into 4 groups, with 6 teams in each group. 7. A team scores 3 points for victory in the group phase, 1 point for tie and 0 points for loss. 3
8. Two teams with the highest score advance from each group, the second criterion is the result of the direct round, the third one the goal balance and the fourth one the number of goals scored. 9. The next phase of the Tournament follows the knock-out format where the winning team advances to the next phase of the competition. 10. Games in the knock-out phase cannot end with a tie. In the event of tie, the score will be determined by a penalty shootout. Each team is entitled to one strike until the other team misses, and the opposite team strikes the goal. 11. Penalties involve striking a goal from the middle of the pitch into an empty goalpost. 12. Fouls are counted. The 6th foul of the team (and each consecutive one) shall entitle the opposite team to a penalty kick. 13. Violent fouls, including jostling by the perimeter wall, are punishable with red and yellow penalty cards. The yellow penalty card means that the fouling player leaves the pitch for two minutes, while his/her team must continue the game with one player fewer and the opposite team is entitled to a penalty kick. Should players of both teams be punished in the same instance, there are no penalty kicks, only temporary dismissal for 2 minutes. 14. The red penalty card means that the fouling player leaves the pitch until the end of the game, while its team must continue the game with one player fewer. The opposite team is given the right to the penalty kick. 15. In addition, a nutmeg (provided that the dribbling player possesses the ball) is awarded with a penalty kick. 16. From semi-finals up, contestants are committed to play games wearing Adidas gear (provided by the Organiser) 17. Cleats or footwear which is not suitable for football is strictly prohibited on the pitch. V. CLASSIFICATION AND AWARDS 1. The prize for the best team is the team trophy plus a supply of Adidas gear worth PLN 10,000 and guaranteed participation in the upcoming Tango League tournament. 2. The prize for the best MVP player is the annual supply of Adidas gear worth PLN 5,000. The best player is the player with the biggest number of MPV titles (Most Valuable Player) (A player whose style is most spectacular, creative - selected by two referees after each game). Should two players demonstrate an equal number of MPV titles, the winner shall be selected during a penalty shootout which continues until the first miss. 3. As the payer of natural persons income tax, the Organiser shall pay the flat income tax due on the prizes won in the Tournament. 4. The winning team will also garner a commemorative medal. VI. PRIVACY POLICY 1. Personal data of Contestants who apply for registration shall be processed in line with the act of 29 August 1997 on protection of personal data (unified text: Journal of Laws 2002 No. 107, pos. 926, as amended). Provision of contestants' personal data is voluntary, but it is 4
required for admission to the tournament. The Contestant has the right to review his/her personal data and to have them corrected or deleted, as well as to object to their further processing by the Organiser. 2. Personal data of the Contestants provided in the application form may be processed in relation to the rollout and execution the tournament as well as for the purpose of future marketing initiatives concerning the Organiser's activities, products and services and objects related to thereof in accordance with provisions of the Act of 29 August 1997 on Personal Data Protection (Journal of Laws from 2002, No 101, pos. 926, as amended). 3. The Organiser reserves the right to send to the Contestants commercial and marketing information from entities related to the Organiser. The Contestant hereby authorizes the Organiser to process personal data and provide the Contestant with commercial information by means of electronic communication, in particular to the indicated e-mail address and/or telephone number, in line with provisions of the Act on providing services by electronic means of 18 July 2002. (Journal of Laws No. 144, pos. 1205, as amended). 4. The Organiser reserves the right to send to the Contestants, at any time, messages regarding the rollout and execution of the tournament and the operations of the Website (reminders, system messages, technical notices, important announcements). Personal data of Contestants will be used to inform the Contestant about future events staged by the Organiser, as well as for internal administrative and analytical needs. 5. In accordance with the applicable Polish laws, the set containing personal data and their processing are reported to the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection. 6. The Organiser shall answer all and any questions and concerns regarding the Privacy Policy as well as the terms of use of the Website. Contact details are available on the Website. The administrator of the Website is Adidas International Trading B.V., Hoogoorddreef 9a, 1101 BA Amsterdam, Netherlands, registered by the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam as number 33305842. VII. FINAL PROVISIONS 1. Should any provision of these Rules and Regulations be deemed, in whole or in part, to be invalid or unenforceable, all other provisions (in whole or in part) shall remain valid and enforceable. 2. The Organiser shall provide the binding and final interpretation of these Rules and Regulations. 3. All and any issues which are not provided hereunder shall be resolved by the Organiser. VIII.
