General Information The Ontario Cup marks the first event, for Ontario Racers to test the new Pan-Am Velodrome in 2015. The Ontario Cup events are meant to offer the opportunity of racing on a world class Velodrome for OCA members. Registration Information This event is pre-registration only. Only UCI licenced riders can complete. Out of province riders are welcome! U19(Junior) 6.93 meters 100 inch 52x14 Course Safety First aid will be located in the in-field area. Below is a map to the nearest hospital. For your safety, if you withdraw from the event for any reason, you must inform the nearest Commissaire that you are no longer racing. You are required to wear an approved, regulation cycling helmet at all times while riding your bike.
General Rules and Regulations The races will be held under the rules of the UCI with CC and OCA modifications. The CC & OCA rules are available on-line at: http://www.ontariocycling.org/commissaires/commissaires-rules/ Riders must sign in and collect their numbers at registration which closes 30 minutes before the start of each day. This event is pre-registration only. An OCA representative will be present at the race to assist with rider licensing issues. There are no plans to sell UCI licences on race day. Please contact the OCA for more details. All riders (or parents/guardians) are required to sign the OCA and CC waivers, unless they have an OCAissued licence. Races will start promptly at the indicated start times. There will not be a team managers meeting. Awards will be presented according to the published schedule. Top-3 finishers are required to attend award presentations or risk forfeiting their awards. Riders must wear their competition uniforms for the presentation. In case of an accident spectators are NOT ALLOWED to cross the track, however, they can gain access to the infield through the tunnel. Only Licenced coaches and operational / event personnel are allowed in the infield / safety zone. Medals Medals will be awarded to the top three athletes in each category for each event. You must attend the awards ceremonies in order to receive your medal. Riders must wear their competition uniforms for the presentation.
