Sports Car Club of British Columbia Presents Tony Morris Memorial Weekend October 8-9, 2016 This event is sanctioned by CACC and affiliated with ASN Canada FIA INC. It is a championship points race conducted under the 2016 CACC regulations and is organized by the Sports Car Club of British Columbia at the Mission Raceway Park Road Course in Mission, BC. Each regional group will have one points race on Saturday and two points races on Sunday. Supplementary Regulations THE EVENT: Time Attack - No Passing - Oct 8, 2016 (Get to know the track/introduction to Time Attack event) Hosted by the Sports Car Club of BC at Rivers Edge Roadcourse. Mission BC Organized by CACC, Henry Threlfall, Time Attack Director REGULATIONS: This event is held under the applicable rules outlined in the 2016 CACC Time Attack Regulations and 2016 CACC General Competition Regulations (GCR) and these Supplementary Regulations. Copies are available online at http://www.caccautosport.org/ EVENT DESCRIPTION: This introductory event is designed for a driver to improve and test their car handling skills at speeds that may be slightly higher than Autoslalom speeds. This is not a CACC Championship event. The event will consist of two open practice sessions and timed run session(s). Practice sessions will be two separate, equal in number, random groups to be determined at the Drivers Meeting. The open practice sessions will be twenty (20) minutes in length. Passing during the practice sessions will be allowed only between the exit of turn nine (9) marked by a green cone on the pit wall and the number five (5) brake marker preceding Turn One. All passing must be completed before the braking zone. Timed run session(s) will consist of one out lap, three timed laps, and one cool down lap. We will endeavor to give each competitor two timed run sessions. There will be multiple cars spaced out on the track during the timed runs. Passing is NOT allowed during the timed run sessions. This will be a TRANSPONDER event. Loaner transponders will be available and may be changed by the organizers between sessions. Car numbers will be assigned to those without preregistered numbers ENTRANT ELIGIBILITY: All entrants must possess a valid driver s license and be at least 16 years of age on the day of the event. (BC Driver s license classes 1 through 5 or equivalent, N acceptable). Entrants may hold a valid Time Attack senior or novice license on the day of the event. FOR THIS EVENT ONLY, entrants that do not have a Time Attack or higher CACC licence must be able to prove they have had recent experience at a CACC sanctioned event such as a lapping day, driving school or autoslalom. Current Kart licences accompanied with a valid BC drivers licence may also be accepted. Eligibility may be determined by the T/A Director and Steward(s).

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Helmets are required for all entrants. Refer to section 11 (C) of the 2016 CACC Time Attack rulebook for acceptable helmet standards. A fire suit is not required but shirts and pants made of a nonsynthetic material covering the body from wrists to ankles are required. Open toed shoes are NOT allowed i.e. sandals, flip flops, high heels etc. Helmets rated SA or M and meeting the Snell 2005 or later standard are required. If an M helmet is used then a fire resistant balaclava meeting CACC GCR 18.2 is required. VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS: To qualify as eligible to participate in a Time Attack - No Passing event, each vehicle must comply with the minimum requirements according to CACC Time Attack Regulation 5. See www.caccautosport.org/rules/ Open Wheel class cars or Karts are not permitted. Open cars, those with fold down or completely removable tops will require roll over protection meeting CACC GCR 17. The roll over protection shall not be the factory hoops. The top of the roll bar shall not be below the top of the driver s helmet when the driver is in the normal driving position, and shall not be more than six (6) inches behind the driver. It is strongly suggested that the roll bar be at least three (3) inches above the drivers helmet. PASSENGERS: Passengers are not permitted. MULTIPLE DRIVER CARS: Multiple entrants may drive the same vehicle during a Time Attack - No Passing event with a maximum of two drivers per car entered and will be placed in a different grouping. NOISE LEVELS: All vehicles must be muffled with a maximum allowable sound level of 95dB. Entrants exceeding this limit will be given one warning, and will be permitted to make modifications to reduce sound. Entrants will be asked to leave if they cannot comply with this sound limit. Final judgment of the acceptability of sound levels, regardless of the measured sound level, rests with the Steward. ADDITIONAL SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS Refer to the SCCBC Supplementary Regulations (available at Registration) for regulations pertaining to the event site, paddock and hot pit lane.

THE SCCBC RACE ANNOUNCEMENT AND SCHEDULE FORM PART OF THESE SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS. INFRACTIONS MAY RESULT IN PENALTY OR EXCLUSION AT THE DISCRETION OF THE STEWARD. 1. ALL EVENTS ARE TO BE HELD ON THE 2.1 KM MISSION RACEWAY PARK ROAD COURSE IN A COUNTER CLOCKWISE DIRECTION. 2. RACE LICENSES ACCEPTED: CACC, ASN CANADA FIA (ALL REGIONS), ICSCC, SCCA OR IMSA. CANADIANS REQUIRE LICENSES ISSUED BY CACC OR ASN CANADA FIA OR ITS TERRITORIES. 3. ALL COMPETITORS, ENTRANTS, CREWMEMBERS AND OFFICIALS WITHOUT EVIDENCE OF HAVING SIGNED THE OFFICIAL ASN ANNUAL WAIVER, MUST SIGN THE OFFICIAL ASN WAIVER ON SITE. ALL SIGNATORIES MUST WEAR THE ASSIGNED WRISTBAND. 4. MINORS (UNDER 19) REGISTERED AS CREW, DRIVERS, OR VOLUNTEERS MUST HAVE A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN SIGN AN ANNUAL PARENTAL WAIVER. NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 16, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF REGISTERED LICENSED JUNIOR DRIVERS, IS PERMITTED IN HOT AREAS AND MAY NOT BE REGISTERED AS CREW. 5. REGISTRATION, DRIVER SERVICES AND THE OFFICIAL NOTICE BOARD ARE LOCATED IN THE SCCBC CLUBHOUSE NEAR PREGRID. 6. NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN HOT PITS, PREGRID OR ANY MISSION RACEWAY PARK BUILDING. 7. NO TESTING ON ANY FACILITY ROADWAY. RACECARS ARE PERMITTED IN THE EAST PARKING AREA ONLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF LOADING. 8. PRIOR TO 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE 1ST SCHEDULED SESSION EACH DAY, RACE ENGINES MAY ONLY BE IDLED TO WARM, OR TO REPORT TO TECH AND RETURN TO THEIR PADDOCK SPACE. 9. ALL CARS MUST REPORT TO PRE-GRID BEFORE ENTERING OR RE-ENTERING THE TRACK FROM THE PADDOCK. 10. CARS ARRIVING AT PREGRID MUST TURN THEIR ENGINES OFF UNTIL THE 1 MINUTE WARNING AND IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER THE 5-MINUTE WARNING FOR RACE SESSIONS YOU MAY BE PUT AT THE BACK OF THE GRID. 11. HOT PIT SPEED LIMIT IS FIFTY (50) KILOMETERS PER HOUR (30 MPH). HOT PIT LANE ENDS AT THE STARTERS TOWER. 12. SUPPORT VEHICLES MUST BE PARKED WITHIN THE CONFINES OF ASSIGNED PADDOCK SPACE AREAS. NO PARKING ON NORTH SIDE OF REAR ACCESS ROAD THIS IS A FIRE LANE. 13. NO SKATEBOARDS, SCOOTERS, OR ROLLER BLADES IN THE PADDOCK. NO ONE UNDER 16 IS ALLOWED TO OPERATE A MOTORIZED VEHICLE (EXCEPTION: DRIVERS HOLDING A CACC JUNIOR RACE LICENSE)NO ONE UNDER 16 IS ALLOWED TO RIDE A BYCYCLE ON THE PREMISES UNTIL AFTER THE FINAL CHECKERED FLAG OF THE DAY AND ALL CARS ARE OFF THE TRACK. 14. BOTH FRONT PAVED LANES IN THE PADDOCK AREA RUN EASTBOUND FROM 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE 1ST SCHEDULED SESSION. REAR LANE IS TWO WAYS. SPEED LIMIT: SLOW 15. DO NOT USE THE PADDOCK LANES TO LOAD UNTIL CARS FROM THE LAST SESSION OF THE DAY HAVE RETURNED TO THEIR PADDOCK SPACES. 16. FUELING IS PERMITTED IN THE PADDOCK ONLY. 17. REPORT ALL HAZARDOUS WASTE SPILLS TO THE PADDOCK MARSHALL. ANYONE DUMPING OIL WILL BE FINED AND BANNED. DRIVERS WILL BE ASSESSED A COST OF $50 PER BAG FOR ANY GREASE SWEEP REQUIRED FOR FLUID LEAKS OR SPILLS ANYWHERE IN THE FACILITY. 18. DAMAGE TO TRACK, GROUNDS, BUILDINGS OR EQUIPMENT, REGARDLESS OF CAUSE, WILL BE CHARGED TO THE DRIVER RESPONSIBLE. DAMAGE TO PAVED AREAS MAY RESULT IN FINES. LIMIT IN A QUALIFYING SESSION WILL HAVE ALL PRIOR QUALIFYING TIMES IN THAT SESSION DELETED. 24. ALL PETS MUST BE UNDER CONTROL AND CONFINED OR ON A REASONABLE LENGTH LEASH WHILE ON SITE. 25. UPON EXITING THE HOT PIT, STAY IN THE DEDICATED PIT-OUT LANE TO TURN 1. 26. TIRE SCRUBBING IS ONLY PERMITTED BEHIND THE PACE CAR. 27. ALL RACE PARTICIPANTS AND THEIR RACE/SUPPORT VEHICLES MUST VACATE THE PREMISES 90 MINUTES AFTER THE CHECKERED FLAG ON THE FINAL DAY OF EACH EVENT. 28. RACECARS FAILING TO NEGOTIATE TURN 1 THAT DO NOT PASS THE COMMITMENT LINE MAY RE-ENTER SAFELY AT TURN 1. RACECARS PAST THE COMMITMENT LINE MUST RE-ENTER SAFELY AT TURN 3. NO POSITIONAL OR LAP TIME ADVANCEMENT IS PERMITTED. 29. RACECARS USING THE RUN-OFF ROAD IN TURN 4 MUST COME TO A STOP PRIOR TO TURN STATION 6 AND WAIT FOR DIRECTION FROM A TURN MARSHALL PRIOR TO RE-ENTERING THE TRACK. NO POSITIONAL OR LAP TIME ADVANCEMENT IS PERMITTED. 30. RACECARS EXITING THE RACING SURFACE IN 7A OR 7B MUST RE-ENTER THE TRACK ONLY WHEN SAFE TO DO SO. NO POSITIONAL OR LAP TIME ADVANCEMENT IS PERMITTED. 31. RACECARS INTENDING TO EXIT THE TRACK VIA THE PIT ENTRANCE MUST ENTER THE PIT LANE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PIT ENTRANCE LINE IN TURN 9 AND STAY FOUR WHEELS TO THE RIGHT OF THE LINE FOR ITS ENTIRE LENGTH. VEHICLES NOT EXITING THE TRACK MUST NOT PLACE FOUR WHEELS TO THE RIGHT OF THE PIT ENTRANCE LINE IN TURN 9. 32. THERE IS NO ACCESS TO RACE CONTROL WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF RACE CONTROL. THERE IS NO ACCESS TO THE PA STAND EXCEPT FOR AUTHORIZED OBSERVERS AND EVENT PERSONNEL. 33. THE SCCBC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO, AT THEIR DISCRETION, REFUSE ENTRY AND/OR ACCESS AND/OR REMOVE PARTICIPANTS FROM THE MISSION RACEWAY PARK. 34.
