March 8, 2012 Attendees: Kevin, Chris, Clark, Dan, Abigail, Karen, Meredith, Janet 1. Kevin reviewed finances from Steve. 2. Equipment Needs: a. 7 lacrosse chest protectors b. 7 throat guards (not the tie-on type) c. 4 backstops i. (Need to talk to Ch. Zappala about getting agreement to put these in the ground sona tubes?) d. 3 container boxes with locks, to be located at: i. LMS ii. Girls Varsity Field iii. West Road e. Helmet Pinnies i. 12 per team X Number of teams we have f. Score board i. Get 1 for this year (same type as Hampstead/Windham) ii. Next year possibly add another for Girls Varsity and/or LMS g. AED (defibrillator) i. The item costs $1500 but there is a program that will match funds, so our cost would be $750 ii. Still need to work out where to keep, how to maintain 3. Field meeting Saturday 8 a.m. a. SAU district office is location b. Kevin has sent in our needs based on number of teams and slots needed. Currently deficit of 15 practice slots/week i. Is Panther park available? Currently Slater practices with LHS Varsity girls until evening. ii. We cannot use Game field for practice iii. Could we use: 1. Par 5 2. Lincoln? 3. 2 lower track fields 4. PE field behind LHS gym 5. Panther Park (if LHS girls not using at same time) 6. Softball Field 7. West Road Field 1&2 required for games. a. Will do concession fundraiser on Sunday mornings at West Road.

4. SWAP and shirts/socks sale a. Karen reviewed the sales and proceeds from the SWAP. b. She also outlined good sales of shirts and socks at first week of teambuilding. Who can help continue to be there for sales? i. **Karen to ask Angel if she could help c. We should inventory equipment at end of season. d. If anyone goes to container in next few weeks, get an inventory of what size helmets we have e. Need to start someone now on LAX swap for next year (so they will know how to run it when Karen is not here) 5. UNH games Mar 25 a. Hollis, Brookline, Hampstead are all playing b. Boys games: i. 2 U13 ii. 2 U11 iii. 2 U15 c. Girls games: i. 1 U11 ii. 2 U13 iii. 2 U15 6. Team Building has started a. **Clark to check to make sure no parents have elected no email b. Can Abigail send out Headstrong fundraiser to our members? Yes. c. Jerseys: i. Girls Jerseys: Difficult to fit names in the space allotted on girls shirts. Do we want to consider different placement? 1. DECISION: Put name above number (as today) but lower the whole thing so that it s lower than the arm-hole cutouts ii. Numbering for boys we will end up with some duplicates. There are 125 boys between U13 And U15 1. If parents express concerns, send them to Kevin 2. We decided NOT to go to 3-digit numbers. 7. Roundtable: a. Chris Wayne will bring refs to UNH, Seacoast. Will need patched ref for all games. Weds next week will tie out with Wayne. i. **Chris to send Karen details of dates, games, times, ref needs by next Weds. ii. April 7 Seacoast scrimmages iii. Move 2 girls games to Sat, 24 th. We could get 12-1:30 on Bremmer (could do 3 20 minute games), we can also get new field 6-7 iv. Need a U13 B coach. We have U13A coaches. b. Dan i. Covers for goals needed: 2 for U7

ii. Pinneys. 40 from bin go to vendor (they are currently in storage bin). 1. **Kevin to get them from Storage and give to Abigail on Tuesday. 2. **Abigail to get them to vendor c. Karen i. Schedule meeting Thursday night. She has a conflict but Abigail will cover. ii. Karen will provide handout for Abigail to give out and can train her on what to do. iii. Our teams are: iv. Boys: 1. 2 U9 2. 3 U11 (A, B, C) 3. 3 U13 (A, B, C) 4. 3 U15 (A, B, C) a. The B, C are non-competitive v. Girls: 1. 1 U9 2. 1 U11 (non-competitive) 3. 2 U13 (A, B) 4. 2 U15 (A, B) vi. Games at West Road on Sundays for Boys (except when soccer tournament), and Lincoln for u9 available all day vii. Kevin requested Fields 1 & 2 at West Road (back to back games on Sunday) viii. Can we use LMS field if needed? Or LHS Varsity Field? 1. **Karen to ask Cindy Alley. ix. Practices: 1. 2 Par 5 2. 1 Lincoln 3. 3 Lower Track 4. Outfield? Could we get Sunday morning, 9-12? 5. U13, U15 MWF 6. U9, U11 T, Th, and U11 on Saturday also x. Scrimmages 1. OK for U11 on Saturdays. Others no. 2. LMS or Varsity field for weeknight games. 3. 5:30 scrimmage start early in season. Later in season can make start time later. d. Meredith i. Ball Bags did everyone get one? No. ii. **Kevin to give Meredith some to distribute. iii. U13B coach still needed iv. U9 have Whitley, Nicola, Ball v. U11 have Andrews, McGrath

vi. Girls will practice 3x/week for U13, U15; 2x/week for U11, U9 vii. Mudbowl girls on Saturday e. Kevin i. $30 per team for Bill Ball (not U9) x 9 teams = $270. **Kevin to send. ii. If Derry has not U15 girls team, they can choose among: Windham, Londonderry, Manchester iii. $746 NHYLA to go out 15 th 8. Schedule 14 th UNH games schedule due from Chris 26 th Need parking lot times (even though we also have indoor time that week) 7 th Add Seacoast 31 st Girls 1 st Boys Rosters move to 28 th **Clark clear out rosters from last year **Clark will have feature to allow parents to confirm when their child is planning to play 30 th import to SM Need to schedule around DC trip for 8 th grade Abigail waiting for confirmation on banquet dates Dana Boyle camp - $65 per kid? Meredith we need athletic trainer for girls. Need to finalize: Mudbowl - Who are coaches - How much are they charging? - Have approval for field - **Camper gift set for girls camp Abigail to work with Tara o Pinney o Bag (advertising our camp including D. Boyle name) 2 boys teams at each level 3 girls teams: U11, U13, U15. Can we add 1 U15 girls team? **Clark to ask

Alley about using LMS or LHS Varsity fields
