2. ADMINISTRATION 2.1 The Classes, age and weight divisions listed in the table below are permitted to Compete at this Meeting. Minimum licence requirements are in accordance with KA Class Rules. Submit the form with driver details INCLUDING Transponder to be used. Enter class being entered and select tyres for purchase as per the options on the form. Submit the form b) Entries for this meeting WILL NOT be accepted by post. c) Payment of the Entry Fee can be made in accordance with the instruction in the Round Guide found at sekqld.com. d) Payment By: Cash EFT ONLY 2.5 MINIMUM ENTRIES a) 5 is the minimum number of pre entries which must be received for each Class and/or weight division. If insufficient entries are received for a Class and/or weight division, the class may be cancelled or combined at the discretion of the Organiser and in accordance with the Rules. b) The Entry Fee may be refunded at the discretion of the Organiser and in accordance with the Rules. 3. COMPETITION 3.1 FORMAT OF RACING a) Practice Combined 45 Minute Session b) There will be timed qualifying at this event. c) If Timed Qualifying will occur, describe how the grid for the Heats/Pre final and Final will be set. Qualifying: 1 x 10 minute session, combined classes d) If Timed Qualifying will not occur, describe how the grid for the Heats/Pre final and Final will be set. Method Refer to http://www.sekqld.com/competition-rules.html for points breakdown. 3.2 ACCESS TO CIRCUIT a) Competitors will be permitted to enter the Circuit from 0630 on Saturday the 14 th of May 3.3 DRIVERS BRIEFING 3.4 FUEL a) Time: 0630 hrs Location: Out Grid a) PULP 98 and 95 are the only fuels permitted to be used at this Meeting. b) All teams must supply the following amount of fuel to the Fuel Marshall PRIOR to qualifying commencing: 60 Litres A fuel form must be completed and submitted to the Fuel Marshal at driver s briefing. 3.4 PIT LANE a) Pit lane will be closed in both the first and last half hours of the race. Stops completed in this time do not count to the team s total tally. b) Pit lane will be closed under safety kart conditions. Stops completed in this time do not count to the team s total tally. c) Pit Lane Speeding will warrant an automatic drive through penalty for a first offence. The judges of fact are the nominated Pit Lane Marshall and the Clerks of Course. 3.4 PIT STOPS a) Both the Maxx and Performance Classes MUST complete a minimum of 18 pit stops over the course of the event. The end of the race does not count as a stop. b) A Driver change must be undertaken at least once per hour. No driver is permitted to exceed more than 60 minutes in the kart. c) All teams are required to have refuelled their kart a minimum of SIX (6) times. d) A deceleration zone will be established on entry to the Pit Lane. Drivers must be adjudged to have attempted to wash of sufficient enough speed for safe entry within the designated zone. Failure to do so will see a drive through penalty issued upon the first infraction, with more severe punishments able to be issued as per the Clerk of Course s discretion. 3.5 DRIVERS a) Teams must have a MINIMUM of three (3) Licensed drivers in order to compete. b) Drivers must drive for no more than sixty (60) minutes in one stint, and must no re-enter the kart until twenty (20) minutes after their previous stint was completed. 3.6 TIMETABLE a) Saturday 14 th of May 2016 ANTI-CLOCKWISE DIRECTION 0530 Gates Open TBA Canteen (TBA) 0630-0700 Driver s Briefing 0700-0745 Open Practice (Anti-Clockwise) 45 minutes 0745-0750 Refuel for qualifying (RACE TYRES MUST BE FITTED) 0750-0800 Combined 10 min qualifying 0800-0815 Qualifying ends, karts gridded in order 0825-0829 Karts leave grid for race start (2 warm up laps, combined grid) 0830-2030 12 Hour Enduro (all classes). 2030-2100 Parc Ferme Technical Team to inspect Top 3 karts in both fields plus a randomly selected additional kart from each field. 2100-2130 Presentation 2230 Gates Close 3.6 TROPHIES & PRIZES a) Trophies 1st to 3rd in all Classes b) Hard Charger Trophy for Team making up most positions after the SIXTH HOUR OF RACING EXCLUDING THE TOP 3 KARTS. c) Special Trophy Livin On a Prayer for the team who has made up the most positions by the SIXTH HOUR OF RACING relative to their starting position. 4. CIRCUIT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS 4.2 MEDICAL SERVICES a) Any Medical assistance that is required outside of the operating hours when Kart s are not on the Race Track please contact 000. The address to give to the Emergency Services is: Your Specific Location Willowbank Raceway, Champions Way, WIllowbank 4.3 KART RETRIEVAL a) Pit Crew with trolleys will only be given access to the Circuit during Qualifying and Racing at the Clerk of Course s Discretion and only when the race is under the control of the Safety Kart. b) Retrieval of karts is at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course c) Pit Crew must only enter the Circuit when permitted by the Clerk of Course and then only if wearing a high visibility safety vest on the upper torso. d) Karts can be retrieved via Parc Fermé 4.4 ADDITIONAL VENUE REQUIREMENTS a) No animals allowed anywhere within the facility. b) No dumping of Fuel or Tyres, please make own arrangements. c) No unlicensed driving of motor vehicles permitted at the circuit. d) No motorised scooters, mini bikes, roller blading, skateboards and tricycles allowed at the complex during the entire Meeting. Officials may confiscate any such items for the duration of the Meeting. e) Marquees are not to be erected without consent of the Club. f) There will not be a Vintage Demonstration.
