In Intermediate, Min, Challenge Cup and Juni Foursomes, shots are conceded. A player s current handicap will determine which team she is eligible to compete in. A Player may compete in a team even if her handicap exceeds the higher limit f that team but her handicap is reduced to the higher limit. Team sheet to be exchanged with opposing Team Manager pri to start of match.

Imptant Infmation f Team Captains / Team Managers, 2018 District, National and Generic Tournament Regulations and Conditions must be adhered to by all teams participating in the ILGU Inter Club Matches. NB: Matches are on a Home & Away basis, the Team Managers must contact each other to arrange a mutually convenient date Sheet to be completed with current handicaps and confirmation that players have played three qualifying competitions in the previous 12 months. List names in der play which must be in handicap der. In singles the lowest handicap player must be first on the list and in foursomes the lowest combined handicap pair must be first. Exchange with opposing Team Manager on the day of the match. Please wear your Badge so everyone will be clear as to who may give advice. ILGU Transptation Policy - Team Captains must make sure they are fully conversant with the ILGU transptation policy regarding the use of buggies by players and caddies. (Page 39-41, 2018 ILGU Handbook) Obtain sce cards which include local rules, from the liaison officer at the hosting club. Check with the liaison officer f any addition local rules applicable on the day. Advise your players to carry the 2016 Rule book. Ensure your players and caddies are at the first tee at least 10mins befe their starting time. Pace of Play is very imptant. Slow play should be monited by the team captains and agreement made with the opposing Team Captain that you will both move your players on if play is slow. Each group is responsible f keeping up with the group in front. If delays occur because of a searching f a lost ball the time must be made up by the group. Each player is responsible f playing without delay. Remind your players and caddies that mobile phones MUST be switched OFF while matches are in progress. (Team Captains may carry a phone on silent) The use of DMD S is permitted in all ILGU events, provided that they confm to the regulations as set down by the R & A. In the event of a walkover being given please send the the results to the contact person. Please advise the players not to interact with the spectats in der to avoid any misunderstanding re advice. Spectat Guidelines are on page 35 of the ILGU Handbook. Advice f team Managers in Extreme Weather Conditions. Where the extreme weather creates a safety issue, the two Team Captains may at any time agree to discontinue a match. This course of action should only be taken as a last rest and in general a match should be finished if at all possible.

When play is suspended, a team/player(s) that has already started play must continue play in the rescheduled match. Any player(s)who is unable to play in the rescheduled match must concede their match. A team/player(s)which has not started play may change the team/players even if the team sheets have already been exchanged pri to the rescheduling of the match. Whenever a team has started play and the match has to be rescheduled, Condition 7.3.11.1 (see Regulations and Conditions attached) is applicable to those players who had not started their match. Example: Min Cup team. Pairings 1, 2, and 3 have teed off. The course is then closed due to unplayable conditions. The match is rescheduled f the following Friday. Pairings 1, 2 and 3 must resume play from where they stopped. If any of these players are not available to resume play, they must concede their match to their opponent. Pairings 3 and 4 may change f the rescheduled round as they had not started their matches. When a decision is taken to discontinue a match, the two Team Captains must: Ensure that the position of the balls and state of the match is clearly agreed. Arrange with the host club f course time to complete the match. Immediately infm ILGU Ulster District. Repting Match Results. The Manager of the winning team should fward both the match result and the start and finish times, to the Results Contact Person, listed on the draw sheet, as soon as possible. Please check the draw sheets on the website f up to date infmation The following Regulations and Conditions must be read in conjunction with Generic, National and District Tournament Regulations and Conditions. See Ulster Regulations10.2.1 to 10.2.5 below. 7.2 GENERAL The Championships shall be open to all ILGU affiliated clubs. The Championships consist of 4 singles and 2 Foursomes Inter-Club match play Divisions The venue and date f National Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Finals shall be determined by the Board and shall be under the Management of the Tournament Committee 7.3 REGULATIONS A club may enter only one team in each of the divisions. A team/panel may change f each round/leg. All matches shall be played to a finish unless one team has already won. No Halved Matches. (Ulster see District Regulations) 7.4 CONDITIONS The Names and Handicap ranges f Singles/Foursomes Interclub match play are as follows: - Juni Cup: Handicap Range 9 15 - Intermediate Cup: Handicap Range 16 21 - Min Cup: Handicap Range 22-27

- Challenge Cup: Handicap Range 28 36 (maximum limit handicap is 33) - Seni Foursomes: minimum combined 14. - Juni Foursomes: minimum combined 35. Maximum combined 41. Handicap Range 15-36. Current playing handicap applies at the time of the match. Players must have played 3 qualifying competitions (i.e. either three 18 three 9 Hole qualifying rounds) in the previous 12 months Handicap allowance. Juni Cup and Seni Foursomes, no shots. Intermediate Cup, Min Cup, shots conceded, full difference between the handicaps of the two players. Challenge Cup. Shots conceded. Full difference between the handicaps of the two players howeverthemaximum handicap limit of 33 applies. Juni Foursomes. Shots conceded. Half the difference between the aggregate handicaps of each side. Players must have a current CONGU Playing Handicap. Club Membership In Inter-club matches a player must have been an elected member of the club she represents on befe March 1 st in the year of the Tournament. A player who is a member of me than one club may play f both clubs. However she cannot play singles foursomes in both clubs. She may play singles in one and foursomes in the other. Match Play In singles match play (except The Challenge Cup), a team must consist of 5 players nominated from a panel of a maximum of 7. In the Challenge Cup, a club may enter a team of less than 5 players and concede the last match matches. If there is a tie refer to separate District pages in ILGU Handbook. In foursomes match play a team must consist of 3 pairs nominated from a panel of a maximum of 8 players. In singles match play players must play in der of handicap. In foursomes match play players must play in der of combined handicap. A player/pair playing out of handicap der shall be disqualified from that match and her opponents awarded the match. There is no further penalty providing the remaining players play in der of handicap. Caddies In all matches (including Finals) caddies are permitted in Singles Competitions. Caddies are not permitted in Foursomes matches. Step Down Player: A Club may elect to play one me players from above the handicap range f a particular round but they must play off the highest handicap in the competition range. E.g. a player off 25 handicap can be selected f the Intermediate Cup but she must play off 21 handicap. A player may play f her crect division and a step down division. In accdance with the Note to Rule 8-2 of the Rules of Golf, each team may appoint one person who may give advice to members of that team at each venue. She must be identified to the Committee/Team Manager/opposing team in advance of giving advice and may not walk onto a putting green.

Penalty f breach of 7.4.1, 7.4.2, 7.4.3, 7.4.4, 7.4.5, 7.4.6, 7.4.7 and 7.4.8 shall result in Disqualification of player/pair. Penalty f breach of Conditions 7.4.9. Shall result in disqualification of the team. Penalty f breach of Condition 7.4.13 shall be in accdance with Generic Condition 3 Penalty Statement. Penalty f breach of Conditions 7.4.15 shall be in accdance with R&A Rule 8-2 penalty statement. Ulster 10.2 General The Championships consist of 4 Singles and 2 Foursomes Inter-Club match play Divisions. All matches will be played home and away up to the semi-finals. Two dates (one date should be at weekend if at all possible) to be offered by the Home Club. Matches should be arranged as early as possible within the draw dates. The District reserves the right to impose a date f the playing of a match in the absence of Clubs reaching agreement on fixing match dates. Clubs who do not play their fixtures within the times specified on the draw sheet will be disqualified unless exceptional circumstances are brought to the attention of the District Tournament Committee befe the last day of the time period. The following are in addition to AIG Ladies Cups and Shields National Tournament Regulations and Conditions and must also be read in conjunction with Generic Regulations and Conditions. 10.3 Regulations Entry fms can be downloaded from the Golfnet website www.golfnet.ie. The Competition shall be open to all ILGU affiliated members in the Ulster District. No halved matches at neutral venues. F home and away matches the visiting team shall have the honour on the 1st tee. At neutral venues the team on the top of the draw shall have the honour on 1st tee. Draws will be posted on www.golfnet.ie. 10.4 Conditions At home and away matches in singles and foursomes where there is an even number of matches resulting in a tie, the winning team shall be decided on holes up in played matches. If there is still a tie the lowest handicap match (those players who were listed on the team sheets as Number 1 and played at number 1 on the team) will play off hole-by-hole commencing on the first hole of the venue where the second leg is played. If a tie results because of a player/pair having been disqualified the other team automatically wins.
