The venue to be cleared for judging NOT LATER THAN 10.30 A.M. PROMPT

RULES & REGULATIONS 1. All exhibits must have been grown by the exhibitor on his/her own premises, or on land in his/her own occupation for at least three months previous to the Show. Any exhibitor infringing this rule will be disqualified from receiving any prizes. This rule applies to Classes 1 12. 2. No exhibitor shall be awarded more than one prize in the same Class, therefore only one entry per Class will be allowed. 3. All entries must be made on or before Thursday 26 th October 2017. 4. All exhibits must be staged for the Judges by 10.30 a.m., when the hall will be cleared and only those officially engaged will be allowed inside. The hall will be open for the reception of exhibits from 8.00 a.m. No exhibits shall be removed before the presentation of awards without the written consent of the Committee. 5. The decision of the Judges shall be final. They have the power to withhold any prize, or prizes, if in their opinion there are not sufficient exhibits, or the standard reached is not high enough, or the rules have been infringed. 6. Exhibitors must show the exact number of specimens mentioned in the Schedule, or they will be disqualified. 7. Any protest must be made in writing and lodged with the Secretary by 3.30 p.m. on the day of the Show, accompanied by a fee of 1, which sum will be forfeited if the objection is considered frivolous. In the event of any dispute as to the qualification of the exhibitor to compete, the decision of the Committee shall be final. 8. Every possible care will be taken of exhibits but the Committee will not hold itself responsible for any loss or damage that may occur.

FLORAL ARRANGEMENT SECTION Open Classes: Entry Fee 50p per class Points awarded: 1 st - 5, 2 nd - 3, 3 rd 2 Staged on tabling with white covering. Some classes will be in alcoves. Exhibits are arrangements which may include accessories (i.e. non plant material items) if appropriate, but plant material must predominate. Drapes, bases, backboards and title classes are always optional, if space allows, but should always be appropriate and immaculate! Please note: Alcoves are 24 x 24 x 24 (61cm x 61cm x 61cm) Class 1st 2nd 3rd 13. AUTUMN GLORY A front-facing exhibit, in traditional style. Space allowed 24 (61cms) wide x 20 (50cms) deep x 24 (61cms) high, staged in an alcove. 5 3 2 14. HALLOWEEN FUN An all-round exhibit suitable for a party buffet table. Space allowed 24 x 24 (61cms x 61cms), height optional. 5 3 2 16. THE SMALLEST BRIDESMAID A tied posy for a small bridesmaid, using available garden flowers and foliage. Not to exceed 10 x 10 (25cm x 25cm). 5 3 2
