Boat description: The Sunsail Match First 40 Fleet A multiple award winning boat, the Beneteau First 40, has an excellent pedigree and is ideal for close quarter sailing and match racing. The Match First 40 is a capable yacht with great acceleration and a light, responsive helm. It has a spacious cockpit with a continuous mainsheet system which is ideal for racing, the cockpit also allows for a good secure space for the mainsheet trimmer alongside the helm. The yacht s spacious cockpit area is also great for team briefings and lunch on-board for crews. Each Match First 40 comes with a symmetric spinnaker offering impressive downwind performance. A roomy modern interior with electric heads and central heating, it has 8 berths for sleeping but can race with a further 4 crew on board during the day. Each yacht is fully MCA coded and compliant with all RYA safety regulations. Each boat has Garmin Navigation equipment with a Chart plotter fully loaded with all Solent race marks. Sunsail s UK base is recognized by the Royal Yachting Association, our yachts comply with the Marine & Coastguard Agency Code of Practice for Sail Training Yachts and all Sunsail Skippers are qualified and hold a commercial endorsement. This means that our safety procedures and equipment are regularly monitored to comply with RYA regulations.
