Aims of the Event 6 th FAI World Cup of Canopy Piloting 2011 To determine the World Cup Winners and European Champions in Canopy Piloting To establish new World and National Records To promote safety and develop canopy piloting training and competition. To exchange ideas and strengthen friendly relations between sport parachutists, judges and support personnel of all nations. To allow participants to share and exchange experience, knowledge, and information. To improve judging methods and practices. 3. The town inhabits approx. 25.000 people. Many supermarkets, restaurants and a hospital are within 5 minutes drive from the airport. 4. Accommodation Camping with electrical hookup at the DZ (north side of the airfield) at no cost. Accommodation for approx. 50 people in 2- to 9-bed rooms are available at the Airport (south of the runway) in the ATTC (Aviation and Tactical Training Center) for 35,-- Euro/room (2- and 4-bed rooms) or 5,-- Euro/bed (9-bed room) per night. Participants and accompanying persons may choose to either stay at the DZ as well or book one of the hotels situated in Klatovy, approx. 3 km from the DZ. 6 th FAI World Cup of Canopy Piloting 2011 14. Insurance Competitors are responsible for their own personal injury insurance and this is compulsory to all competitors and associated delegates. All competitors must have personal and full medical insurance to cover medical expenses and repatriation. Event liability insurance, covering Officials, Judges and all other people who paid the registration fee will be arranged by the organizer. Emergency services will be situated on the Drop Zone for the entire duration of the competition. A medical facility is situated in close proximity to the DZ. Any damage to the hotels etc is the responsibility of the persons involved. Personal items and equipment are under participant s responsibility. 15. Judges Equipment The type of equipment will be determined by the FAI/IPC and as per the last Plenary Meeting, Cametrix will be the official scoring system used. 16. Judges Seminar There will be a Judges Seminar on the 20 th and 21 st of August 2011 (starting at 1 p.m. on the 20 th of August). Chief of Training Judges will be Silvia Wagner from Austria. VISA support Participants/delegation members needing VISA for entering the EU/Czech Republic, upon request will receive VISA support by the Organizer (e. g. letter of invitation. 19. Registration 6 th FAI World Cup of Canopy Piloting 2011 The Preliminary Entry Form of a NAC must reach the organizer at least 75 days prior to the start of the competition i.e. by 8 th of June 2011. The Official Entry Form and the Payment must reach the organiser at least 45 days before the competition i.e. 8 th of July 2011.
