Training Due to children s swimming camp in the swimming pool before the competition and as the shooting and fencing venues will be set up right before the competition, there will be limited training opportunities in the mentioned events. pool will be open during the competition for training 1 hour after the finish of the swimming event each day. Accommodation Teams will be accommodated in Vienna House Diplomat Prague, Evropská 15, Praha 6, 160 00 Website: www.viennahouse.com/en/diplomat-prague/location.html The Accreditation Office and Technical meetings will be in Vienna House Diplomat Prague. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Hotel request a credit card for guarantee. After 6 th July 2017 no cancellation or modification is permitted. 100 % of the acommodation fee needs to be paid after this deadline. Transport Transportation from the Vaclav Havel Airport Prague to the official hotel and the return journey is only guaranteed if flight information is provided in the registration system well in advance and prior to the deadline. Transportation from the official hotel to the venues will be provided according to the competition programme. Financial Conditions For delegations (athletes, coaches, officials, supporters) reserving the accommodation package, the prices are as follows: Registrations received PRIOR to 16 June 2017 Single 120 per person per night Double 100 per person per night Registrations or any changes received AFTER to 16 June 2017 Single 130 per person per night Double 110 per person per night Minimum stay for participants (athletes, coaches, official) is 3 nights (except athletes participating only in relay competition). Each price includes full board accommodation, local transportation from/to the event and shuttle from/to Vaclav Havel Airport Prague. Delegations wishing to arrange their own accommodation must pay an accreditation fee per participant (athlete, coach, or official) to the LOC. The amount of the accreditation fee is set at 75 EUR per day per person with a minimum payment of 4 days (300 EUR). For this, we will provide lunch packets for the competition days and allow access to official transportation between the hotel and competition sites. By June 16, 2017, a non-refundable 30% deposit must be sent to the LOC after which you will receive a proforma invoice for the remainder of the total cost for your delegations. This may be paid in cash at the accreditation desk on arrival, but we recommend sending by bank transfer or through UIPM online payment 3

All extra cost for bank transfer should be worn by the national federation. Ignoring that, the amount will be invoiced afterwards. As a reminder, if on arrival, the team has fewer athletes and/or officials than submitted in the registration system and without informing the Organising Nation/LOC at least 7 days prior to their arrival, the NF will have to pay a fine to the Organising Nation/LOC of 200 for each person not attending. Deadlines Delegations are kindly reminded that the UIPM Online registration system is obligatory. The online system will be open from 22 nd May 2017. All information must be submitted, including flight information, pistol serial numbers, accommodation bookings, etc. by 16 th June 2017. Any changes after this must be sent by email to the organiser. Following closure of the registration system on the 16 th June 2017, a NF must enter the competition with at least one pentathlete/team per confirmed gender or Mix Relay. Any failure to take part after having sent their final entries will pay a fine of 600 EUR to the UIPM. The early confirmation of your intention to participate or not would highly be appreciated and by submitting the information by email to wchprague@pentathlon.cz before 25 th May 2017. Deadlines are as follows: Participation Confirmation before 26 th May 2017 Deadline to send 30% deposit 16 th June 2017 Closure of Registration 16 th June 2017 If we do not receive complete information of your delegation prior to closure of the registration system or we do not receive your delegation s deposit payment, then we will consider your delegation as non-participating. Athletes Licenses Athletes are only allowed to participate in UIPM sanctioned events if they are in possession of a valid Athletes License. Registration is not possible without a License Number. If an athlete does not have a license they will not be allowed to take part in the competition. 4
VISAS & Vacinations Laser Pistols General Information LOC Contact Details Visiting nations should confirm visa and vaccination requirements for entry into the Czech Republic prior travelling to the event. The LOC cannot accept responsibility for arranging visas but can provide specific letters of invitation if needed. For information if you need a visa or vaccinations please contact your nearest Embassy or Consulate. Firearms Licenses are not a legal requirement when bringing air and CO 2 pistols into the Czech Republic for competition purposes. All athletes are kindly requested to wear their official national uniform at the competition. Please also bring a CD of your national anthem and a national flag.
