Assistant secretary The Assistant Secretary: 9.1 shall be elected each year from nominations received in accordance with Rule 11.2; 9.2 shall, wherever possible, attend all meetings of the Association; 9.3 shall be responsible for the collation of the results of Association Pennant matches and distribution of an up to date Pennant table as required by Executive Committee; 9.4 shall share other duties with the Secretary as determined by Executive Committee; 9.5 shall receive an annual honorarium, the amount to be decided by the Executive Committee and approved by the Annual General Meeting of the Association. Weather 1. 3b. of the Bowls SA Heat & Inclement Weather Policy be added to By Law 2 If the forecast temperature is 35 degrees or more, it is the responsibility of member clubs, associations, sections and regions to monitor, at regular intervals of no longer than 30 minutes, the temperature during all practice and play and cease play when the temperature reaches 38 degrees Celsius (Executive) RESOLVED THAT INFORMATION TO BE ADDED INTO BY LAW 2.2 REGARDING MONITORING THE TEMPERATURE ON A REGULAR BASIS BY THE MANAGERS AND UMPIRE OF THE DAY 2. Changing of wording to SEPBA By Law 2.7 38 degree forecast Wednesday and Thursday - start early If at 5pm on the day prior to the day of play, the temperature is forecast to reach at least 38 degrees Celsius at a home ground venue play at that venue will commence by 9am on the day programmed. The Association secretary is to be notified of the change. (Cummins) 3. An addition to SEPBA BY Law 2.7 Upon agreement, opposing managers may arrange to play earlier to avoid excessive heat (Cummins) 4. The Temperature thermometer MUST BE located in a place that all Clubs and Sides can see (Kirton) 5.
