The Big Bite is unbeaten in two hurdle starts and is more than capable of making his mark in a field of this nature, but the vote goes to MISTER FISHER. The Nicky Henderson-trained gelding probably needed his first run on his jumping bow at Newbury but he was only just denied and this course winner, in a bumper in March, can capitalise on receiving weight from the majority of his opponents. Top Tip: MISTER FISHER (6) Watch out for: THOMAS DARBY (4)

ATR VERDICT: Warthog made a successful chasing debut at Sandown but was arguably flattered due to the mayhem going on in behind and, in a stronger race, will struggle to dominate. Glen Rocco (third) and Turtle Wars (fifth) were both inconvenienced at stages in that contest and it would be no surprise to see them reverse the form. Preference, however, is for GLEN FORSA, who struck at the first time of asking over fences at Chepstow over an extended 2m7f and the drop in trip is no issue as he raced keenly on that occasion. The likely strong pace will suit him ideally and he has a similar profile to the yard's Mister Whitaker, who finished second in this 12 months ago before going on to Cheltenham Festival glory. Lough Derg Spirit and Dell Oro also look ahead of their marks and will pose solid threats. Top Tip: GLEN FORSA (10) Watch out for: LOUGH DERG SPIRIT (5) 2018 At The Races. All Rights Reserved.

The Worlds End has tasted success on two of his three outings over fences, although he might want further already and could be outpaced by some of these rivals. Bags Groove was mightily impressive at Huntingdon when barely touching a twig in victory, while La Bague Au Roi receives a valuable 7lb mares' allowance and is sure to be given a positive ride. Preference, though, is for TOPOFTHEGAME, who was the one to take from the race when second at Exeter behind Defi Du Seuil after messing up the start. He jumped well and appears ideally suited by this step up to three miles. Top Tip: TOPOFTHEGAME (6) Watch out for: SANTINI (4)

He travelled with class to go past Samcro with ease on that occasion, and should have his ideal conditions as he attempts to repeat his triumph of 12 months ago. Stablemate Verdana Blue accounted for If The Cap Fits in the Elite Hurdle at Wincanton last month and is better off at the weights, while Gerry Feilden winner Global Citizen should avoid the wooden spoon ahead of rank outsider Boite. He also has to reverse form with his Cheltenham Gold Cup conqueror Native River, but this flatter track and shorter trip will suit if he's firing on all cylinders again. Waiting Patiently looked classy up to 2m5f last term and is an interesting prospect on his seasonal return though, like recent Ascot scorer Politologue, he needs to prove his stamina for the distance. ATR VERDICT: ERICK LE ROUGE backed up his Bangor victory with an 18-length demolition job over 2m3f at Warwick last time and is fancied to defy a 10lb rise to complete a hat-trick. Former Willie Mullins inmate Montalbano is worth a market check now switched to hurdles on his first outing for Jonjo O'Neill, while a big run from Colonial Dreams, who went well in a bumper here last year, would also come as no surprise now he's back in a handicap.
