A quick shout out to all the officials who help make Gippsland go kart club the great club it is, without these ladies & gentlemen being there on the day we wouldn t go racing The Gippsland go kart club has a great family atmosphere & welcomes all new & old members to its race days & general meetings, all are welcome & remember if you know any new perspective members pass the word along & invite them to attend a race day & feel the fun atmosphere for themselves. President s Report. President s Report. Hello All The October Club Day was an enjoyable day with some good racing and a taste of some warmer weather. We all still need to encourage more drivers down new or old members to enhance the raceday experience. ANOTHER: - note to Travelling Karter s:-when travelling away racing or officiating at other club s I would always remember that I was representing our club to the wider Go Karting Association. I would like to remind our members that I and the club still holds this view and anyone reported breaching our values will be invited for a formal chat. So enjoy yourselves when away, be a club, look out for each other because all the time, effort and expense can amount to zero very quickly. Please read this and take it in as I will be dealing with some members on this matter!!! The club AGM was held at a new time and Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm and was the same people attending and putting their hand up. Filling positions for committee and officials is required for the club to operate and for you to go racing. So if you are interested ask someone so that we can put you in the right direction for information. The Gippsland Go Kart Club 35 th Year Reunion has been put on hold, so as to complete the member database which is in a rebuild phase and it was identified early that these kinds of events will require more members support and participation. Again, be part of this great club and get involved!!! See you all November Club Day Yours in Racing. Richo
