THE STREAK LIVES: Estevan Florial (0-for-3, BB) drew a walk in the 1st to extend his league-best on-base streak to 32-consecutive games. Florial has only failed to reached base in one of his 35 games played this season (4/7 vs. Lakeland). ERA LEADERS: Wednesday's shutout win lowered the Tampa pitching staff's ERA to 2.83. Tarpon pitchers lead the Florida State League in ERA, strikeouts (385) and shutouts (6). Tampa's ERA ranks fifth in all of Minor League Baseball, trailing Double-A Akron (2.47), Double-A Trenton (2.62), Single-A Augusta (2.64) and Single-A Lakewood (2.67) LOCKED IN: RHP Trevor Stephan tossed his first-career complete game on Tuesday in Game 1 of the doubleheader vs. Dunedin. The right-hander showed excellent command, throwing 70 of his 91 pitches for strikes and not issuing a walk over 7.0IP (5H, 2ER, 11K, HR). The 11 strikeouts was also a new career-high for Stephan. The 22-year-old currently leads the league in strikeouts (49), WHIP (0.78) and opponent batting average (.160). GO, DIEGO, GO: Diego Castillo enters today with hits in eight of his last 10 games, batting.333 (11-for-33) with three multi-hit games in that span. The 20-year-old is also one of the toughest to strike out in the league, averaging 8.63 TPA/SO (3rd lowest in the FSL). VS. DUNEDIN: Today will be the fourth of 15 scheduled meetings between the Tampa Tarpons and Dunedin Blue Jays. The season-series is currently tied, 1-1. Tampa finished 10-6 vs. Dunedin in the 2017 regular season, including 7-3 at George M.
