November Crime Report 2018 PURPOSE: The purpose of this report is to provide an analysis of Coeur d Alene crime for the month of November 2018. CompStat: Part 1 Crimes Offense Normal Range for October Part 1 Crimes - Monthly Analysis November 2018 October 2018 Percent Change Aggravated Assaults 17% Increase: Six incidents were domestic related with five cases closed by arrest and one remaining active. The remaining incident occurred just outside a bar in downtown CDA, the victim was highly intoxicated and had serious injuries. The suspect was located and arrested. Rape (3): Two active investigations and one closed. Robbery (2): One drug related incident, suspects arrested. One attempted car jacking, no suspect was located. Auto Burglary 50% Increase: One suspect was arrested, closing out one incident. Non-Residential Burglary Large Increase: The incidents do not appear to be related. See map for details. Residential Burglary 40% Decrease: See map for locations. Auto Burglaries by District Theft 7% Increase: 16 of the incidents were shoplifting related. The remaining were thefts from buildings open to the general public or where the suspects had legal access to. A total of 13 cases were closed by arrest or citation.
