WARNING: FILL YOUR PCP AIRGUN USING COMPRESSED AIR OR NITROGEN GAS ONLY. USE OF OTHER GASES, INCLUDING OXYGEN, CAN CAUSE A FIRE OR EXPLOSION THAT MAY RESULT IN PROPERTY DAMAGE, SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. WARNING: DO NOT FILL AIRGUN WITH OXYGEN OR ANY GAS OTHER THAN COMPRESSED AIR OR NITROGEN GAS FILLING WITH ANYTHING OTHER THAN AIR IS DANGEROUS AND WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY. WARNING: DO NOT EXCEED MAXIMUM FILL PRESSURE OF 350 BAR/5,000 psi AT ROOM TEMPERATURE WARNING: DISCONNECTING THE FILL HOSE FROM THE AIRGUN WITHOUT FIRST BLEEDING THE AIR MAY RESULT IN INJURY FROM HOSE WHIP DUE TO PRESSURE IN THE FILL HOSE. DANGER: DANGER OF EXPLOSION OVERFILLED COMPRESSED AIR CYLINDER Do not exceed maximum fill pressure of 350 BAR/5,000 psi at room temperature FILLING THE RIFLE The Huben K1 uses a fill probe with a male quick disconnect fitting to fill. Attach the fill probe to a female quick disconnect coupler on your charging equipment. The Huben K1 does not have a gauge that tracks fill pressure, you must have a gauge on your charging set up in order to properly monitor the pressure you are filling the gun to. 1) Before filling the rifle ensure the magazine is unloaded. 2) Make sure both fill adapter and the fill port are clean, and then insert fill probe into fill port (See FIG. 5 to insert fill adapter). 3) Fill the rifle with no more than 5000 psi (350 BAR/35 MPa) of high pressure air or nitrogen. FILL PORT 4) After filling the rifle, open the bleed valve on the charging equipment to release the pressure in the hose. 5) Once the pressure is released, remove the fill probe from the fill port. 5 Note: It is best to store the rifle with air in the reservoir. 6

REGULATOR AND VELOCITY ADJUSTMENT The velocity adjustment should match the regulator pressure setting or it will lead to unusual leakage and cocking failure. The regulator pressure should be set between 15 18 MPa for best performance. You will then need to make fine adjustments to the velocity adjuster to achieve your desired output energy. If using heavy or long pellets, be sure you do not set the velocity adjustment too low so that the pellets do not fire. REGULATOR ADJUSTMENT 6 Note the location of the regulator adjustment screw (FIG. 6). The pressure increases when turned clockwise and decreases when turned counter-clockwise. VELOCITY ADJUSTMENT 7 Note the location of the velocity adjustment (FIG. 7). The velocity will decrease when turned clockwise and increase when turned counter-clockwise. 7

TRIGGER ADJUSTMENT 8 Adjust the take-up of the trigger via the Allen screw in front of the trigger blade. Turn clockwise to increase take-up and counter-clockwise to decrease the take-up. LOADING PELLETS DO NOT INHALE DUST FROM LEAD PROJECTILES WARNING: OR PUT THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. WASH HANDS AFTER HANDLING LEAD. SOME PELLETS MAY CONTAIN LEAD, A CHEMICAL KNOWN TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO CAUSE CANCER AND BIRTH DEFECTS. (OR OTHER REPRODUCTIVE HARM). USE THE CORRECT AMMUNITION SIZE FOR YOUR AIR WARNING: RIFLE MODEL. NEVER REUSE AMMUNITION. THE USE OF ANY OTHER KIND OF AMMUNITION MAY CAUSE INJURY TO YOU OR DAMAGE TO YOUR AIRGUN. CAUTION: ALWAYS POINT THE AIRGUN IN A SAFE DIRECTION. 1) In order to rotate the magazine, lift up (FIG. 9A) on the magazine lock lever (FIG. 9B) until it stops. Now you will be able to rotate the magazine clockwise. 9A 9B 10 2) Load one pellet at a time by pressing the pellet into the appropriate chamber. Once the pellet is in the chamber and the skirt is flush with the rear of the magazine, rotate the magazine clockwise (FIG. 10) and repeat until all 19 chambers are full. 8

TROUBLESHOOTING 1. Stuck Pellet: - May cause unusual leakage, cocking failure, magazine stopped and the safety can t be engaged. In general, the magazine can get stuck by oversized or deformed pellets. Solution: - Adjust the working pressure to zero. - Put the cleaning rod into the barrel push the pellets back into the magazine until the magazine can rotate and return back to its original position. Take care in how much force is used when pushing the pellet back into the magazine so you do not damage the magazine or magazine o-ring. 2. Improper Regulator Pressure and Velocity Setting: - May cause unusual leakage, sometimes cocking failure and the safety can t be engaged. Solution: - If the safety can be engaged, the regulator pressure is likely too low or the velocity adjustment is set too high. Increase the regulator pressure or decrease the velocity adjustment. - If you cannot engage the safety, lower the regulator pressure until you can move the safety lever into the engaged (ON) position. 3. Pellet does not exit the magazine when fired: - If the pellet fails to come out from the chamber after firing, the velocity adjustment may be set too low. Increase the velocity and try shooting again. 4. Accuracy Issues: - In general, this is caused by two things. Either a pellet that does not match up well with the barrel or a dirty barrel. It is important to try a wide variety of pellets. If you have tried multiple pellets, clean your barrel and retest.
