Welcome to MTB-O Sweden! On behalf of the Swedish Orienteering Federation I would like to welcome all World Cup and World Masters participants to Sweden s first international competitions in Mountainbike Orienteering. Mountainbike Orienteering is a new discipline in Swedish orienteering, with this year being the first when we have held our own national championships. We are therefore pleased to already be organising the World Cup and World Masters Championships. Although the sport is young here, we know that the organisers have worked hard to create challenging, fair and fun competitions and we trust you will be pleased with the results of their preparations. While you are here take time to enjoy the surroundings of Leksand and Rättvik, this part of Sweden is among the most popular for tourist visits. We know you won t be disappointed. Best regards, Lena Larsson President, Swedish Orienteering Federation 3
