SFC 2019 Calendars will be for sale in the School Office and before and after the Christmas Concert. Get a Christmas gift for someone in your family! What a great season and it s not over yet for Bold Robotics! It s been a great year for the Boldt Robotics team. We re proud that both of our competition teams were top finishers at the Marquette sectional competition and advanced to the Mukwonago regional competition. It takes a lot of dedication and hard work to pull together the team s proposed solution

to the competition topic, build their presentations, program their robots, and practice, practice, practice. Well done! Excitingly, the Gold team placed in the top 9 teams and was selected to advance to the final state competition in February, 2019! As important, they were recognized once again as a winner of the Gracious Professionalism award. The team s spirit, great teamwork, hard work and positive attitude was clearly noticeable to the judges. Congratulations! Gold team members include: Rodrigo Cardenas Delgado, Kain Crib-Fitchner, Samuel Davis, Lauren Rettler, Aaron Ruplinger and Cassidy Schuster. Green team members include: Logan Gregor, Josh Huss, Ryder Katz, Rose Palmer, Calvin Stram and Cate Stram.

The SFC 7th/8th Grade Girls Basketball Team took the Consolation Championship at the Living Word Lutheran Timber Wolf Tip-Off Tournament. The girls lost their first game but went on to win the last two and brought home a trophy! Players include: Annmarie Habersetzer, Paige Harter, Maya Haug, Gianna Hemauer, Christina Jones, Kayla Landvatter, Hope Schensema, and Mia Vetter. Cookie Elves Cookie Drop off Reminder - On Wednesday, December 19th by 3:00 pm - Please drop off your baked goodies at the School Office! Package your goodies by placing 6

treats on plastic wrap or in a baggie and tie securely with a pretty ribbon (or in another presentable fashion). This makes our organizing and packaging so much easier and keeps the treats fresh. If you would like to help assemble the boxes, drop off your kids and then join us in the Multi Purpose Room at 3:30 pm. Our students will be spreading some Christmas cheer around town this holiday season. In art class this week, each student is designing a custom Christmas Cheer card, about the size of a playing card. On the other side is a special Christmas message, designed to inspire or just to make someone smile. Each student will place their card in a public out in the community, in the hopes that it will be found by someone, and make their day. Each card is numbered, so the students can track their message of cheer. People who are lucky enough to find one of the cards are asked to send a message to Cabrini, via the school s Facebook page, website or just by calling the school office, to let the kids know which card was found and where. Then, the kids hope the finders will leave the card someplace else for another lucky person to find. Keep your eyes open for these cards, starting Sunday, December 16th. Let the kids know if you find a card on the website: www.saintfrancescabrini.com/christmas-cheer, or by calling the school office (262-334-7142).

It's that time of year! Time to nominate your favorite Cabrini alum for Alumni of the Year. Deadline for nominations is Monday, Dec 31. This year's awards will be presented during Catholic Schools Week, at the end of January. Use our online nomination form www.saintfrancescabrini.com/alumni/alumni-award-nomination or download a pdf form and return it to the school office. CLASS PROJECTS - We are looking for parent/family volunteers to help with a Class Project for the 2019 Together event for following classes: K3, K4, K5, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7 th Grades. New ideas are welcome or we can provide you with some ideas to get you started! We would like to have all volunteers finalized by December 21st. Please contact Alesia Gugg at 262-689-2796 or Alesia.Gugg@hotmail.com. Knights of Columbus Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest with three divisions: Ages 5-7, 8-10 and 11-14. 11 x 17 poster boards and entry forms are available in the School Office and are due back by December 18th.

Parents with children in Basketball - we still have a number of openings that need to be covered! (High School students can assist for service hours doing books and record keeping.) Each family must sign up to assist with Concessions, Admissions, Bookkeeping or Scorekeeping and we currently have MANY slots that are not filled. If you have not signed up for a minimum of two - three slots please do so! https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0d44aea82fa1f58-basketball

As you are going thru your Christmas card address lists, please send us family and friends that you would like us to invite to the Annual Dinner Auction: Growing Better Together - A Gathering in the Garden event that will be held March 2nd. Invites will come home thru Thursday folders and mailed to non school families early January. Looking for a unique gift this holiday season for family, friends, neighbor, or teacher? Consider a gift certificate for tickets to the Annual Dinner Auction! Formal event invitations will be mailed in January. Each certificate is equal to the purchase price of one event ticket for the March 2, 2019 Together Event. Certificates may be redeemed in lieu of payment at time of RSVP. Order Forms will be coming home in next Thursday's home folders or Click Here for a copy.
