What a great season and it s not over yet for Bold Robotics! It s been a great year for the Boldt Robotics team. We re proud that both of our competition teams were top finishers at the Marquette sectional competition and advanced to the Mukwonago regional competition. It takes a lot of dedication and hard work to pull together the team s proposed solution
to the competition topic, build their presentations, program their robots, and practice, practice, practice. Well done! Excitingly, the Gold team placed in the top 9 teams and was selected to advance to the final state competition in February, 2019! As important, they were recognized once again as a winner of the Gracious Professionalism award. The team s spirit, great teamwork, hard work and positive attitude was clearly noticeable to the judges. Congratulations! Gold team members include: Rodrigo Cardenas Delgado, Kain Crib-Fitchner, Samuel Davis, Lauren Rettler, Aaron Ruplinger and Cassidy Schuster. Green team members include: Logan Gregor, Josh Huss, Ryder Katz, Rose Palmer, Calvin Stram and Cate Stram.

Cookie Elves Cookie Drop off Reminder - On Wednesday, December 19th by 3:00 pm - Please drop off your baked goodies at the School Office! Package your goodies by placing 6
treats on plastic wrap or in a baggie and tie securely with a pretty ribbon (or in another presentable fashion). This makes our organizing and packaging so much easier and keeps the treats fresh. If you would like to help assemble the boxes, drop off your kids and then join us in the Multi Purpose Room at 3:30 pm. Our students will be spreading some Christmas cheer around town this holiday season. In art class this week, each student is designing a custom Christmas Cheer card, about the size of a playing card. On the other side is a special Christmas message, designed to inspire or just to make someone smile. Each student will place their card in a public out in the community, in the hopes that it will be found by someone, and make their day. Each card is numbered, so the students can track their message of cheer. People who are lucky enough to find one of the cards are asked to send a message to Cabrini, via the school s Facebook page, website or just by calling the school office, to let the kids know which card was found and where. Then, the kids hope the finders will leave the card someplace else for another lucky person to find. Keep your eyes open for these cards, starting Sunday, December 16th. Let the kids know if you find a card on the website: www.saintfrancescabrini.com/christmas-cheer, or by calling the school office (262-334-7142).
It's that time of year! Time to nominate your favorite Cabrini alum for Alumni of the Year. Deadline for nominations is Monday, Dec 31. This year's awards will be presented during Catholic Schools Week, at the end of January. Use our online nomination form www.saintfrancescabrini.com/alumni/alumni-award-nomination or download a pdf form and return it to the school office.
