There were several internment camps that included Jews, Roma and Sinti (nomades) and resistance fighters: Camp of La Forge (Moison la Rivière), Camp de la Salinière in the town of la Baule Pouliguen. The Camp de Choisel in the town of Châteaubriant was the site of a massacre of hostages in reprisal for the assassination of the German Feldkommandant Hotz. Provenance: From the Archives départementales de la Loire Atlantique. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archives Project Division in January, 2004.
