Swedish Open Youth Championships in Artistic Swimming May 19th-20th 2018 in Stockholm General information Competition Area: Entrance: Shoes: Valuables: Eriksdalsbadet in Stockholm. Competition pool 25 x 20 m, see attached plan. Start point for music programs at the window wall, stairs for leaving the pool at the left corner closest to the locker room 3. Depth approx. 2,5 meters. Pool area is divided in two areas, A and B. Figures pool A and B are competition area. Music program pool A are competition area. Free practice is only allowed in pool B while there is no competition in pool A. Main entrance. From metro Skanstull, pass the Clarion Hotel, down the footpath by the park. Free admission to the artistic swimming competition during the whole weekend. Note! Free access only to competition area. Outdoor shoes prohibited in pool area! Please bring your slippers. Note! Outdoor shoes should be locked in your lockers, to prevent theft. There are safe boxes at the entrance area. Please bring padlocks. Lockers: There are lockers for clothes in group dressing room no. 5 & 6 for girls, 7 & 8 for boys. Bring padlocks. Take all your space-consuming things to the poolside to put in a room close to the organizers. Spectators are recommended to sit on the stands closest to the gym to get the best view of the competition. Make sure that your money and valuables not are left unattended. Note that we only have access to the competition pool there is no access to the other pools. It s very important that we do not leave residue of gelatin in wash basin in the toilets and changing rooms. Be sure to wipe up after you. Please use intended baskets. Starting order: The starting order of the events is automatically drawn through the competition. Each club will receive one start list each after the draw on Friday. In figure competition, rolling starting order will be performed. We will use 4 panels in figure competition. Since there are many competitors, it is essential that the timetable is kept. Team manager are responsible for the competitors to be in time for the start and prize giving. Starting area is to be at the same level as the pool surface. Lineups: To be submitted to the data table at least 2 hours before each session starts. Team manager meeting: Team managers meeting will be held at Saturday 07:40 and Sunday 07:40 in the conference room on the 2 nd level close to the gym. Referee meeting: Referee meeting will be held at Saturday 07:40 and Sunday 07:40 in the conference room on the 2 nd level close to the gym. Figure competition is carried out by one mark per judge, shown with judge s points block and is only read aloud to the panel. Results of the whole figure contest will be reported shortly after the figure competition is over. Music competition will be assessed with three panels of judges and one point from each judge. After each contestant has completed each judge notes the merits on a paper, the will be collected by the secretariat. The judgements will then be shown by the judges and read out loud by the speaker. The total sum of the swimmer will be read out after the next contestant. A completed list of results will be presented after the contest and the prize ceremony is completed. A detailed result list with all the marks will be presented at the Swedish Swimming Federation s website and submitted to participation clubs. Music: CDs or music files to be used must be of good quality according to FINA rules. Clearly marked with name, age group and club. NOTE! Only one CD per entry. Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, in the doctor s room by the poolside.
Opening ceremony: Awards ceremony: Results: Food: Parking: Transportation: Gathering for the parade will be outside the dressing rooms and in the corridor behind Saturday May 19 th 13.15. Dress preferably in club dresses for the ceremony. Parade takes place in alphabetical order of clubs with the host club last. Parade starts at 13:30. The awards ceremony will take place after the sessions are completed on Saturday and Sunday. Award ceremony takes place by the window side. Please wear the club dresses. Referee Thomas Röhss indicates when the results are available. Coaches/managers can download a completed result lists after the price ceremony is ended. The results will also be available on SSF s website www. Food for accompanying families and other audiences are available in the restaurant at the spa at the lower entrance. For the participants who have order lunch on Saturday and Sunday, food stamps are to be found in associations envelopes. All meals are served in Eriksdalsbadets restaurant. Parking at Eriksdalsbadet is not free. The best and most convenient way to Eriksdalsbadet is to take the subway to Skanstull, pass the Clarion Hotel, walk down the foot path by the park to the main entrance of Eriksdalsbadet. NOTE! Since there are many competitors, small changes may occur during the competition!
