THE AVIS GOLF DAY The Avis Golf Day takes place at the flawless venue of The Grove, home of the 2016 British Masters. Presenting award winning hospitality, provides the perfect setting for an outstanding and unforgettable day of golf. The Avis Golf Day offers an excellent opportunity to enjoy a relaxed day with clients and colleagues. The event is also an official qualifying round of The Sportingclass Industry Invitational and therefore the winning team from this event will represent Avis in the four day final held at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans on the edge of the French Quarter. YOUR ITINERARY A slightly later start and extended brunch period allows plenty of time to network with clients and enjoy the wonderful surroundings of. has a relaxed approach when it comes to dress code. You are advised to wear appropriate golf attire, however they do ask that you observe the soft spikes policy. THE PRIZES TPC Louisiana 1st PRIZE A team trip to the tournament final in New Orleans. The winning team will be flown to The USA by British Airways alongside other winners and sponsors of the Invitational. Finalists will experience a four night stay at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans on the edge of the French Quarter, and three rounds of golf. Golf at TPC Louisiana TPC Louisiana has brought Championship golf to New Orleans. Opened only 13 years ago, since 2005 it has been proud host to The Zurich Classic, an annual event on the PGA Tour. THE RUNNERS-UP PRIZE All runners up teams from the qualifying events will be invited back to on Thursday 4 th October to take part in The Sportingclass Open Best of The Rest Qualifier. This event presents one final chance of securing a place in New Orleans. COMPETITION HOLE PRIZES All qualifying events and final will feature first class prizes for the following: Longest Drive Nearest the Pin Nearest the Pin in Two The breath-taking scenery at TPC Louisiana stretches over 250 acres of marshlands along the Mississippi River Delta. Beautiful cypress and oak trees, 5 lakes and over 100 bunkers make this a challenging test of golf. The signature hole on the course is the par-5 18th, where water is in play on the entire right hand side. The great blend of challenge and playability of this course means TPC Louisiana will play host to a memorable 2018 Sportingclass Industry Invitational Final. *Timings may be subject to change
INFORMATION TPC Louisiana The event will run as a shotgun start, for which your starting hole will be sent out before the day. To allow Sportingclass to be prepared for your arrival, please send through the following details by completing the attached form with the following information: Event: Team Name: Team Member Names: Handicaps: Chest Size: Waist Size: Dietary Requirements: The event will run as a shotgun start with the best 2 from 4 scores counting. Everyone will play off 3/4s of their full official handicap. There will be nearest the pin, nearest the pin in two, beat the pro and longest drive competitions featuring as well as other surprises. Scoring will be managed electronically through the buggies, however Sportingclass ask you to keep a handwritten scorecard as well. Should you be a winning team, due to the prize at stake you are required to provide a copy of your handicap certificate no later than two weeks after the event. Failure to do so could resolve in disqualification and the prize being awarded to the runners up. CHARITY: As part of the event each golfer is entitled to purchase and use one mulligan. All funds will be donated to charity. Mulligans can be used on any one tee shot. They are charged at 20 and can be collected on the day of the event at registration.
