Filming day - Friday 24th July We have been given an amazing opportunity - to make a video about our work so that we can reach more families that may need us. Our patron Ken Bruce will record the voiceover and the film will be posted online, shown at events and may even feature on the news..! We are keen to capture footage that shows a typical day at the centre and we hope our families will be a part of this by coming along to play on Friday 24th July and agreeing to be filmed. During the filming everyone will have the normal access to our facilities and in afternoon there will be some extra group activities to enjoy - football, story time and possibly a music workshop too. Thomley staff will be on hand as usual to help you feel at ease and use the space as you would ordinarily. Are you happy to represent us on Friday 24th July? If you would like to take part and are willing to be filmed, please call Courtney and book on: 01844 338380 Wish list We try to keep our costs to a minimum. This Summer you may meet some of our new playworkers and volunteers. They re fun to play with and are looking forward to getting to know you. And, like all of us, they re here to help you so please just ask. When you arrive, ask Courtney who s in that day: from Joe playing football; Lauren running a cooking workshop; Sally being crafty in the art room; to Will hanging out in soft play. We re all eager to support you and get involved. A message from our Centre Manager It was great to see all 248 of you that came to play over the May half term. Thank you to all the grown-ups who called up and cancelled places they no longer required, it allowed us to offer an extra 51 spaces to people who were on our waiting list. There were too many amazing comments about the holidays to choose my favourite, so this time I just wanted to say a big thank you for loving what we do.
