Race Report Round 2 in Mülheim 2017 - "Slotracing Mülheim" From 1tst 3rd of September the LMP Pro Series took place in Mülheim for the 2nd race of the 3rd season. 21 Teams and more then 50 drivers were a new record of drivers for this track. The track and the racecenter were prepared well as known. Traditionel there was outsite again a long party night with food and beer. We work on 100% internet for the webcams in 2018. ;) First on Thursday all together prepared the track. After this the grip was constant and on a fine level for the whole weekend. After the free practice session on friday, material handout started in time at 8p.m. with the following Warm-Up. For the first time the technical inspection was executed by two teams. Victory in qualification went to Nick from RLR, close behind Christian from PQ. 6 Teams with 6,8 laptime and 5 teams with 6,9 laptime showed again the strong competition in the LMP Pro Series. For the first time Best of Show price was won by Stryker Racing Team with a self mastered Audi R18.

Teamname Driver Stryker Racing Team Bert van Dam Jon Grainger Alexander Grijpma Stryker Racing learned a lot. This time their Audi R18 was hard to handle. Light problems cost also precious laps. Finally the Best of Show trophy was a successful ending for the weekend. Overall Position 21. Inox Franky Himler Günther Schlosser Michael Hüther Position 18 in the first day heat was fine. But in race heat two and three Inox slowed down a bit. Overall Position 20. HoBS Racing Team Marcelino Herrero Axel Karl Marcelino and Axel showed a new Chassis from Trier. On their local track Treveris Ring fablous laptimes were possible. In Mülheim there was no big trouble, but the car was a bit slower. Overall Position 19.
Jürgen Konrad Team Grauzone Bernhard Lohmann This time Jürgen and Bernhard had to drive without Carsten. First heat position 15 was fine. In the night it was more difficult. Also a bit speed was lost during the race. Overall Position 18. Flat Brass Martin Leo Gruber Marko Neumayer Christian Melbinger Flat Brass started first time with Marko. In the first and third heat they showed their potential with position 14 and 15. In the night they lost many laps in the pit. Overall Position 17. Hot Wheel Slotracing Sven Pipjorke Udo Gottschalk Sven and Udo were totally new in the LMP Pro Series. Sven bought a used car and the adventure could start. After a really fine, first race, both announced to drive next year the whole season. Overall Position 16.
Martin Bartelmes André Bartelmes Dr. Slot Daniel Waxweiler Dr Slot started slowly and got faster and faster. Every heat they drove around 15 laps more than before. First day heat P20, in the night P7 and on Sunday P14. Overall Position 15. Michael Ulbrich Jussi Kokki LemUa Racing Ville Ruola Markus Nukari Cédric Gridelet Team Hobby 2000 by D&G Didier Ronvaux Gilles Dohogne It is every time really cool to have our finish friends on track. Without problems they drove a solid race. In the night and on Sunday they reached a Top12 position. Overall Position 14. After a fast qualification P4 and a fine first raceheat P5 Team Hobby 2000 by D&G were slower in the night. They do a motorchange without improvement. Overall Position 13.
Mac Racing by Joker Marcel Czibulinski Christian Letzner Christian Urban In the beginning the setup was not perfect. Later a broken controller and a big crash were the problems. Marcel, Chris and Chris fighted until the end. Overall Postion 12. SRCB Jean-Christophe Job Robert Massart SRCB from Belgium with Jean-Christophe and Robert were constant and inconspicuous. As highlight they reached on Sunday position 9. Overall Position 11. GP-Slotracing Gregor Peiter Paul Peiter Again a great race from this father and son team. Really closed beat by 0,28 lap from the next team. Overall Position 10.
Slotracing Mülheim Thomas Reich Norbert Kelker Desmond Dekker The A-team Kevin Vonk Hobby 2000 Junior Thomas Cypers Martin Salpetier Thomas prepared an easy to handle car with a lot of grip. Together with Norbert he made a clean job on track. Overall Position 9. Eventually they reached their goal! In their fifth LMP Pro Series race Desmond and Kevin had a fine setup and the necessary raceluck for the overdue topten result. Overall Position 8. Keep an eye on Hobby 2000 Junior. In their first LMP Pro Series season they drove two topten results in a row. With growing track knowledge Thomas and Martin were on position 5 in the Sunday race. Overall Position 7
Konstantin Müller Plastikquäler 2 Kai-Ole Stracke Björn Van Campenhout Sloefspeed Gregory Albrecht Quinten Vanspauwen Ralph Seif Jäger Team Yannick Horn In the first day heat position 3 was the expected. In the night Konstantin and Kai-Ole handled a bit broken car well. After a crash on Sunday the performance was finally gone. Overall Position 6. Sloefspeed with Björn, Gregory und Quinten from Belgium and team technican Raymond made a good job. The car was fast and reliable. Best Belgian team this time. Overall Position 5. Joachim was ill, so Ralph and Yannick had to drive without him. In practice they searched grip. For the race all was fine, so they could defeat their curse from the two years before on this track. Overall Position 4.
Roland Moritsch No Respect Friedrich Hauk Tobias Münchberger Sebastian Nockemann Plastikquäler 1 Christian Schnitzler Alexander Ortmann RLR Nick de Wachter Roland, Fritz and Tobi are without a doubt a fast topteam. With the right spirit and respect everyone grant No Respect their success. Once again prepared perfect. Overall Position 3. Really close beaten in qualification and race heat 1 and 2 PQ planed the final attack for the victory on Sunday. But on Sunday the Toyota slowed down and top laptimes were not possible. Overall Posotion 2. RLR is back! After an unexpected bad season start Nick and Alex are back in the championchip fight against PQ. In Mülheim they got the maximum possible points with qualification and race victory. Overall Position 1.
