To establish new World and Continental Freefall Style and Accuracy Landing records. To promote and develop Freefall Style and Accuracy Landing parachuting. To exchange experience and strengthen friendly relations between the sport parachutists of all Nations. To allow participants to share and exchange experience, knowledge and information. 3 Venue: Montana, Bulgaria Montana is a town situated in NW Bulgaria, SE Europe. Surrounded by a picturesque display of chain mountains, Montana is a peaceful place that provides fresh air, specific cuisine, welcoming people and hundreds of years of tradition. Arrival by train City Montana railway station. They must announce their arrival to the staff at info@avalonskydive.com and/or info@dropzone.bg so we can fix the transport schedule. At arrival, delegations are welcomed to register at drop zone Erden, where the staff will be waiting to meet and register the teams and individuals. Every team will be informed about the daily schedule, timetable of the official meetings, accommodation additional details and any last minute news regarding the stay and competition. All delegations must be represented by one official (Head of Delegation designated team manager or designated team captain). 3

Note 7.2: Each NAC shall designate one contact person and address. No separate registration/payment by individuals/teams will be accepted. Note 7.3: A valid FAI Sporting Licence for 2018 is required and must be obtained through the Competitor s NAC. All competitors must be registered by their NAC before submitting the Official Entry Form to the Organiser in the FAI Sporting Licence Database http://www.fai.org/about-fai/fai-sporting-licences. Note 7.4: Please all delegation members provide us a face picture (for badges) to info@avalonskydive.com not later than 31 st of July 2018. This will help the organiser by supplying the badges on time. 8 Disciplines (and maximum number of participants per country) Accuracy Landing and Freefall Style: 1 Male team (5 competitors) 1 Female team (5 competitors) 2 Junior Female individuals 2 Junior Male individuals Note 8.1: A junior, both male and female, may select the Category to participate. Participation in the junior event DO NOT excludes participation and ranking in the team event or the Senior Category. 9 Drop Zone Altitude: Situated at 180 m MSL. Facilities on site include: a restaurant, a seminar room and briefing area, an office, rigging area, packing area, a room for keeping all parachutes and equipment, a big parking area, and a swimming pool. Bungalows, caravans and a kids corner are also part of the drop zone. 10 Aircraft AN-2 (four airplanes) for Accuracy Landing and Freefall Style; Exit speed +/- 120 km/h; Pilatus Porter for Accuracy Landing and Freefall Style; Exit speed +/- 130 km/h; Cessna 175 for wind drift indicator jumps and rejumps; Exit speed +/- 130 km/h; 11 Pre competition training Practice jumps are not included in the entry fee. Costs of training jumps will be: Accuracy Landing : 12 Euros Free fall Style : 20 Euros Note 11.1: Practice jumps can be paid in Euros or local currency (Leva) or credit card, and are per competitor/jump. Erden Drop Zone is a fully operational drop zone. Teams that wish to train ahead of time are welcomed to do so starting from 1 st of August. 12 Accommodation All Delegations will be accommodated in 3 stars hotels in the City Montana. All teams should send their room sharing list not later than 10 st July 2018. Hotels where teams will be accommodated: City of Montana: Hotel Jitomir, Hotel Montana, Hotel Vesta City of Bercovitca: Hotel Krastevata kasta 13 Equipment Personal requirements: Personal requirements including FAI Sporting License; see Sporting Code, Section 5, 1.2. Bulgarian National regulations require that a suitable head protection must be worn, while skydiving. AAD: Bulgarian regulations mention AADs as mandatory for safety reasons, for both disciplines: Accuracy Landing and Freefall Style. Airworthiness of the parachuting equipment used: It is the responsibility of the competitor and registration will be taken as a declaration by the Delegation and competitor that the parachuting equipment to be used, is certified as being airworthy by competent authorities (see Sporting Code, Section 5, 5.1.1 [1]).The organiser has no responsibility in this regard; the responsibility rests fully with the Delegation and competitor. 14 Judges & Jury FAI Judges Chief Judge: Zeljko "Zippo" Prajz Assistant Chief Judge: Nikolai Liaskovski Event Judge Accuracy Landing: Darko Svetina Event Judge Freefall Style: Ulf Tingnert Chief of Judge Training: Michel Jara Jury Bernard Nicolas (President) Zeljko Tanaskovic Gustavo Eduardo Reyes Details at the Judges General Conference 15 Judging Equipment Accuracy Landing and Freefall Style: Weckbecker Electronics. 16 Awards Medals will be awarded in all disciplines mentioned above, in both events, for first three placings according to the Competition Rules for each discipline. 6
The awarding ceremony will be held at the end of each discipline and in the time mentioned in the competition schedule, as part of the Closing Ceremony. Notice: Delegations have to bring their National flag and anthem! 17 Medical facilities Adequate medical services will be provided at the drop zone during the event and during official training days, at both landing areas (Accuracy Landing and Freefall Style). 18 Insurance Personal Health insurance and repatriation coverage are responsibility of each participant and is highly advisable. Liability insurance coverage to third parties for the event is provided by the organiser. This does not apply for any damage caused by a participant in free fall or under canopy. Any such damage is the responsibility of the parachutist. Third party liability insurance for the parachute and/or participant is highly advisable. Any damage to the hotel rooms etc. is the responsibility of the person/persons involved. Personal items and equipment are the responsibility of each participant. 19 Visa If VISA needed we will assist you with all necessary documents. Please contact us at to info@dropzone.bg and/or office@avalonskydive.com not later than 30 th of June 2018 Please note that after this date we do not grant that the visa will be issued on time. 20 Doping requirements and control In agreement with General Section 4.11.2 4.11.2.4. The Bulgarian NADA has the right to perform doping controls at any time during the competition. All competitors have to follow the orders and cooperate. 21 Rules IPC Competition Rules, edition 2018 (Accuracy Landing and Freefall Style). Sporting Code Section 5. 22 Weather Average daytime temperature during August is between - C, with the average wind speed in 3-5 m/s direction NW. 23 Accompanying persons Accompanying persons must announce their presence in the same time interval as the competitors, and pay the fees (mentioned in the table above) until the same deadline. Late fees are going to be added the same penalty as for competitors/hod/tc. Accompanying persons are responsible for their own insurance during their stay. 7
