History While the 2nd Battalion of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment under command of Colonel Strayer reaches the hamlet of Le-Grand-Chemin, north of Ste-Marie-du-Mont, a german artillery battery (not located by the allies) in a field near the village begins to fire upon Utah Beach. The E company is ordered to attack the battery. With no news from his commanding officier (1st Lt Meehan), the 1st Lieutenant Richard Winters gathers the men from his company and leads them in the fields south of the hamlet towards the Brecourt Manor. Objectives The US Player has to destroy the german guns. German Gun Firing 2pts US Gun Destroyed 7pts BCP Maps captured 5 pts Special rules Guns fire every two turns, starting from the 2 nd turn. If a crew is attacked, either in close combat or long range firing, it can fire. To destroy a gun, the US player shall bring a soldier close to the gun. Once in position, this soldier has to stay 1 full turn without fighting or moving. At the end of this turn, the gun is considered as destroyed! To simulate the surprise of the attack, all the US units are able to play a full preliminary turn before any actions from german units. On turn 7, 2 teams from D/506 arrive to reinforce the US Paras.
