A lifeguard is not on duty at the kiddy pool and parents are responsible for the safety of their children. Parents are advised that it is a swim at your own risk area. The weight limit of a diving board is 250 pounds. Only one bounce per dive.

2. Children under the age of 5 years, and non-proficient swimmers, are not allowed to use the diving board or swim in the deep end, unless a responsible adult is in the water supervising and assisting them. 3. Swimming under the diving board is prohibited. No floats are allowed in the deep end. Cartwheels, handstands, or hanging off the board are prohibited. INCLEMENT WEATHER CLOSING: Chadwyck Windsor Place Pool follows the water safety guidelines for thunder and lightning conditions. The pool will be cleared immediately after each incident of thunder and/or lightning and will remain clear for a minimum of 30 minutes. If the pool closes due to inclement weather, we will make every effort to send out an email to members to let them know we have closed. However, to make sure that you do not make an unnecessary trip to the pool, please call the pool at (336) 922-6129 to check if the pool is open. On rainy days, we will keep at least two (2) lifeguards at the pool until 2 hours before closing. At such time, if the weather is unsuitable for swimming, the pool will close for the day. If conditions warrant, an exception may be made to modify this guideline at our discretion. We will make every effort to communicate via email if this happens. PRIVATE SWIMMING LESSONS: A list of approved swim lesson instructors will be posted at the facility. Only approved instructors may provide paid swimming lessons. All swim lessons will be taught during normal operating hours when a lifeguard is on duty. Payment and scheduling for swim lessons should be arranged between the member and the instructor. Fees may vary by instructor and the services provided. POOL PARTIES: The pool pavilions can be reserved for parties at no charge to members during the regular pool hours. No parties will be scheduled the first 3 weekends the pool is open or on holidays. All nonmembers will be required to pay the $5.00 guest admittance fee (or guest pass provided by member). Pavilions can be reserved by calling the Pool Director at (336) 922-0176 or emailing at chadwyck.windsor.pool@gmail.com. Large parties will require the services of an additional guard who will be paid by the member reserving the party. Please check for additional details at time of scheduling. RULE CHANGES: The Pool Board may periodically review the rules for changes. These rules are subject to change at any time as necessary for the safety of the pool members. All complaints regarding the operation of the pool should be addressed to the Pool Director. DISCIPLINE / ENFORCEMENT: Discipline problems arise very rarely at the pool. However, to insure the safety of all members, the guards will follow a discipline policy that will be strictly enforced this summer. Please support your staff in this important endeavor to keep your family and others safe at the pool. The guards are

on duty to ensure the safety and enjoyment of the members and will not tolerate any behavior by children or adults, which interferes with that duty. Trespassing and vandalism will be reported to law enforcement officials. Security cameras are in operation for both safety and security. LIABILITY / ASSUMPTION OF RISK: Members acknowledge the inherent risks and potential liability associated with the operation and use of a swimming pool. To that end, Chadwyck Windsor Pool has promulgated rules and regulations intended to protect members and guests from harm or injury and will continue to do so. However, Chadwyck Windsor Pool shall not be responsible for damages to members or their guests, which arise from actions of said members/guests that directly or indirectly lead to injury or harm. Members are specifically cautioned about the use of the pool by guests and children of guests (or members) with respect to the rules and regulations regarding use of the pool.
