With three hands-on courses, students will learn the fundamentals to alpine mountaineering. Students will be immersed in the alpine of the Whistler valley, where they will practice their newly learned skills in "real world" situations. The W.A.S Rock Guide Training Program introduces fundamental skills to become competent in rock climbing. With three hands-on courses, students will learn the fundamentals to rock climbing and guiding. Throughout the program, students will build a resume of rock climbs and multi pitch experiences to help prepare them for reaching an ACMG level if they choose so. Throughout the program, students will be working in alpine terrain, building a resume of trips and backcountry experiences to help prepare them for reaching an ACMG level if they choose so.
