I swear I m busier than I was before I retired. Here s a helpful hint for your lacemaking: When you re doing a row of in Torchon Lace, let s say: cloth stitch, bring your passives to your weaver instead of the opposite. It s easier to tension that way. Well, there you go, I ll see you all on the 17 th Keep lacing, Sylvia Freeway Lace Guild 5 Yard Club Challenge is here! General Information and Comments: Could the Freeway Lace Guild put together a teaching/demonstration for Costume Convention (Costume College) at one of their meetings? At the demonstration at Homestead Museum, it was evident that FLG needs to have a Flyer for those who come up to the booth and request more information. It was suggested that local Colleges be notified of Freeway Lace Guild s Lace Day and Demonstrations. The Meeting was called to a close by Sylvia Fellows at 11:08am. Submitted by: William W. Materials- Original size used DMC 80 or equivalent like Venus, Majestic or? You may also use Lizbeth 40 but then the pattern will be about 6 inches 3 pairs with one color for the Schneeberg edge with about 3 yards per bobbin 4 other pairs of your choice.
