From the very start, the campers were treated to a series of exciting and fun special events. " It all began when our Fun Dome was transformed into a professional wrestling ring for the Kindergartners through 6th graders. From Monday through Thursday the campers had a blast hopping into the ring and learning the finer points of pro-wrestling. " On Tuesday, the Pre-Schoolers and Kindergartners got a chance to introduce their favorite stuffed animals to their friends during the Teddy Bear Picnic. When Wednesday came along, so did many members of the Justice League and Avengers, as the campers dressed as their favorite super hero. It was no surprise that Batman and Superman were the two most popular choices. " Thursday and Friday brought some big time performances, as the Kiowas competed in the first ever Kiowas Lip-Sync Battle, while the Hunters, Chippewas, Warriors and Navahos participated in Group Talent Show I. All the campers who performed were outstanding as they brought huge energy and excitement to their performances. " Now we have come to Week 6, easily one of the most eventful and anticipated weeks of the summer. With our Pre-School and Kindergarten Shows highlighting Week 6, the fun seems to get better and better with each new week at Crestwood"

Pre-School and Kindergarten Teddy Bear Picnic On Tuesday, the pre-schoolers and kindergartners brought in their favorite stuffed animals, and took some time out of their day to introduce them to their friends at camp. After which everyone was treated to a nice story. read by one of their counselors. Pre-School and Kindergarten " Mini-Inflatable Extravaganza" On Friday, the Pre-Schoolers and Kindergartners had the best time Crestwood s youngest campers had a very special event, as they jumped, bounced, slid and played in one of 6 awesome inflatable rides.

Crestwood s Swim Team The swim team, made up of campers of various ages, had an outstanding meet on Wednesday against another local day camp. The campers did an amazing job showcasing all they have learned at Crestwood. We Love Swim

Super Hero Day Late Night Friday s Late Night was a blast for the third and fourth graders, as they got a chance to have Crestwood all to themselves. After enjoying some time in the pool and a nice cookout for dinner, the Warriors, Navahos, Wings and Kiowas were treated to a number of exciting events. Some of the highlights of the night included the Gitche Gummee Relays, Human Fooseball, Capture the Flag, Human Anagrams, Crestwood s Got Talent, Game Show, and the always fun and tasty event of making your own s mores at the Late Night Campfire.

The Sports HUB On Wednesday morning, the 2nd through 5th grade campers got a special sports event that gave them the chance to work with some of the top trainers in the sports of soccer and lacrosse. " In collaboration with the Long Island Sports Hub and Crestwood s own athletic specialists, the trainers from the New York Red Bulls and Dynamic Lacrosse Training (DLT) gave special skills clinics that were a huge hit with the campers. The campers were also treated to a fun and exciting agilities clinic presented by the The Hub. " Wrestling Week Throughout the week the oldest campers at Kiowas Lip-Sync Battle Crestwood (Kindergartners through 6th graders) had the amazing opportunity to step into a real professional wrestling ring and showcase their wrestling skills and talents.

Early Bird Enrollment Preparation has already begun for the Summer of 2015, Crestwood s 60th. We are excited to celebrate this major milestone with two incredible announcements. " First, in celebration of our 60th summer, Crestwood will be constructing a NEW and exciting 1600 sq. ft. Splash Park. The Splash Park will be built in the space between the Toucan Pool and the Low Ropes Adventure Course. It will include a wide array of sprayers, buckets, blasters, jets, water domes and other water play features that will surely excite our campers for many summers to come. " In addition to the NEW splash park, and along with our Early Bird Enrollment rates, we are offering a 60th Summer Tuition Special. If you enroll your child or children for the 2015 Summer, prior to our early bird deadline (August 21, 2014), we will freeze that tuition rate* for that child or children for the 2016 Summer. " Jr LEGO League Club One of Crestwood s newest clubs, Jr. LEGO League Club is lead by Great Neck Robotics Coach, Nicole Alexander. It is a fun pull-out for 1st through 4th graders that presents new weekly LEGO building challenges for campers to work collaboratively in order to complete them.
