FIS Snowoboard Halfpipe World Cup Secret Garden TEAM INVITATION
Dear Snowboard Nations, The Organizing Committee and Chinese Ski Association are very pleased to invite your national teams to participate in the FIS Snowboard Halfpipe World Cup which will take place in Secret Garden, China. Secret Garden is official competition venue of Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding for 2022 Winter Olympic Games. Your athletes will have opportunity to train and compete in Olympic Venue four years before 2022 Winter Olympic Games. Competition will be conducted in accordance with the FIS International Ski Competition Rules (I. C. R.), and all of the FIS members are invited to this competition, entries of the event are through FIS website. In order to help you to organize your participation smoothly, the Organizing Committee has prepared the enclosed information for your reference. We look forward to welcoming you to secret Garden. Location Secret Garden Ski Resort located in Chongli county, Zhangjiakou City, It is about 220Km and 3.5 hours drive from Beijing Capital Airport. Secret Garden Website: http://www.secretgardenresorts.com
ENTRIES Entries will be accepted from National Ski& Snowboard Associations, affiliated to the FIS in accordance with the FIS quotas and rules. Entries must be submitted through the FIS Online Registration and Entry System at www.fisski.com. Deadlines of Entries Preliminary Entry (Announcement of Team Size): 9 th November 2017 Final Team Name list: 9 th December 2017 Entry Fees According to the FIS World Cup Rules, a mandatory participation fee of CHF120 per competitor has to pay to the OC at registration in cash or by credit card.
Registration The registration will start on December 16th (Saturday) from 09:00--21:00 at the Race office in Genting Grand hotel. To be eligible for participation in the 2017/2018 FIS Snowboard World Cup, each competitor must be a citizen of the country from the National Ski Association, and must have the FIS Code and a valid passport. All fees and deposits need be paid in cash or credit card upon the registration.
VISA To travel to China, most country citizens are required to have a Visa. Please send us the photocopies of passports in advance. As soon as receiving your team entries and passport copies, we will prepare and send you a visa invitation by names. This invitation is required when you submit your visa application to the respective Chinese embassy. Please also note that all passport must be valid for at least half a year after you leave China. If you need to apply your visa in the country which is different from your nationality, please inform us. Please contact: snowboard@sports.cn for Visa application
Accommodation All team will stay in Genting Grand Hotel, which is 5 stars with Gym, Swimming Pool, restaurants and other facilities. Gondola is 50 meters away from Hotel. Organizing Committee will provide Half Board Accommodation from dinner of 16 th to breakfast of 22 nd, The rate will be CHF80 per team member. Early arrivals and late departure are subject to availability and subject to different rate. For accommodation, please contact with Tina: worldcup@secretgardenresorts.com
Transportation Please set your flight destination Beijing Capital International Airport(PEK). The OC will provide transportation from airport to Secret Garden. The rate for round trip will be USD120 per person. Please fill the transportation application form and send to Tina: worldcup@secretgardenresorts.com Offices Race office will be located at conference room, 2 nd floor of the hotel. Prize Money Prize money will be CHF25000 per gender and payment will be via bank transfer. Prize money is subjected to income tax of China.
Insurance All participates in the event shall do so at their own risk. All competitors must have their own insurance. The organizing Committee, CSA and FIS decline any responsibility for accidents, damage or lost equipment and second and third party claims during the event. Anti Doping Anti Doping control may be conducted for this event.
