From the M2/A2 turn southwards onto the A227, & pass through Meopham. Vigo RFC is just east of Vigo Village. The entrance will be marked with archery target signs on the day. Satnav co-ordinates: 51 20 6 N / 0 22 4 E Rounds: The rounds to be shot will be: World Archery 1440 rounds, which will have UK and World Record Status and World Archery Star Status plus ArcheryGB Metric rounds, which will have UK Record Status only. ENTRY INFORMATION Eligibility: This tournament is open only to archers who are existing members of ArcheryGB or another World Archery member association. Proof of membership will be requested at the tournament, no proof no entry. Club: Because this event is organised by a county association, you must enter the tournament either as a member of your first-claim club (GNAS Law 20.b.v ) or as a Direct Member of KAA/other county/archerygb (provided, of course, that you are). Drug Testing: This is a UK and World Record Status tournament. You might be liable for drug testing, and competitors approached to give samples must comply. If you refuse, that refusal will be treated as a positive result. Entries from archers under the age of 18 must be signed by a parent/guardian to signify consent to their child being drug tested. Age Groups: Archers wishing to be considered for a World Archery Star or World Record must shoot the WA round corresponding to their age on the birthday that falls in the year of the tournament. All may choose to shoot the senior round. Registration: Assembly: Practice: Start of Competition: Judges: from 08:00 a.m. 09:15 a.m. 09:30 a.m. 10:15 a.m. Ms H Brown (CoJ), DoS TBC, Targets: All target butts are constructed from bound straw ropes; 4-leg (H-frame) stands are used throughout. Target Faces: At the two shortest distances, sighted bows 4 x 80cm 6 zone with A, C shooting on the left, B, D on the right. Unsighted bows 1 x 80cm 10 zone face. Timing: Shooting will be in descending order of distance and in two details throughout. Ends of 6 arrows will be shot in 4 minutes at all distances. Dress Code: ArcheryGB dress regulations will apply. Archers not conforming to rule 307 will not be eligible for awards. You are requested to observe the dress code until after the presentation of awards. Shooting Aids: Archers using a wheelchair or stool that remain on the line please tick the box on the form so that this can be accommodated. Star Awards: World Archery rounds (Table 1) have World Archery Star status and competitors wishing to claim an award, must do so before they leave the venue. Lost Arrows: This tournament is held on a mixed-use sports field; if you lose any arrows, you must find them before you leave the venue. No responsibility will be accepted for damage to arrows missing or passing through a target boss. Parking: Parking space will be clearly indicated; please park considerately and do not leave your car on any roadway. Photography: To comply with the ArcheryGB Policy for Safeguarding Children, Young People & Vulnerable Adults, any person wishing to pursue any form of photography for any purpose is required to report to the tournament organiser before starting and to comply with any conditions given. Juniors: All competitors under the age of 18 must be supervised by a parent, guardian or other nominated responsible adult at all times.
