The full Beiter Hit Miss Rulebook is available at www.beiterhitmiss.co.uk All competitors must be members of World Archery / member association(s) World Archery Rules Book 3, chapter 11.1, 11.2 & 11.3 will apply Teams of 2 archers (1 compound & 1 Recurve) Distance shot 18m Ranking round of 60 arrows per team (30 per archer) Ranking round Shot on Paper Hit Miss Face (3x 60mm scoring zones for Recurve & 3x 40mm Scoring zones for compound) Recurves to shoot top face/target and compound the bottom Teams ranked 1 to 64 by score for first head to head. Winning 32 teams enter the Championship Flight Losing 32 teams compete in a Head to Head Winning 16 teams enter the 2nd flight Losing 16 teams are eliminated Head to Heads shot on Beiter Hit Miss Targets No practice or sighting arrows All 6 team arrows shot will be shot in 2 minutes 30 seconds Only 1 archer per team on the shooting line at any time Semi finals & finals will be shot in alternate arrows See last yearʹs instructional video online here.

When & Where: Sunday, 16 October 2016. The Sportspark, University of East Anglia, Norwich, Norfolk, NR4 7TJ. Parking: University of East Anglia Main Car Park: Take token on Car Park entry. Free Parking at weekends if token is validated in the venue before departure. Validate token in the machine on the wall by the exit gates. Insert token into the pay machine to authorise, then you can exit the car park. Disabled parking: Sportspark car park Blue Badges must be displayed. Free parking with ticket validated at the Sportspark Reception.
Accommodation: We appreciate that many of you will be travelling a good distance to join us, and may therefore require accommodation. The map above shows the location of some of the closest hotels to the venue. Norwich has National Bus and Rail links, as well as an International Airport for those travelling from afar. Catering: The Sportspark cafe serves a wide variety of hot and cold food and drink the current menu can be viewed by clicking here. It is open between 7.30am and 9.00pm. You can bring your own food, though you canʹt eat this in the cafe. There are also catering facilities in the centre of campus which are open from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Wifi/Data: There is Wifi available in the venue: The Cloud This is free to use but requires registration. Eduroam is available if you are a student at a UK University. The Sportspark has pretty good mobile reception on all networks so Mobile Data will work, and 4g is available (network dependant). Team Identity: Matching Team Shirts/outfits are encouraged! No clothing restrictions, though appropriate sports/non marking footwear should be worn in the sports hall. Weʹd like to encourage all teams to submit a short bio via e mail that can be used as part of the tournament publicity, and to aid our commentators on the day. Team photo encouraged but not required Spectators: There will be seating available for spectators in the venue. Spectators will need a Spectator Pass, available from Clickers Archery Ltd to gain entry, which will be free with the pass before 1.30pm. After 1.30pm entry will be 60p. On the Day: Venue is open from 8am registration opens at 8.30am. Show the pass below to enter, and youʹll be directed to the shooting halls. Your entire team needs to be present to register upon arrival. Membership cards for World Archery/Associate body must be presented at registration. Assembly is 9.15am for session 1, 11am for session 2, and approximately 13.15pm for the Head to Head rounds. Where possible, please bring bows into the venue in cases. If not possible, please ensure your bow is not strung. Arrows may only be brought into the venue in sealed containers.
