TJ Sokol Brno I, Kounicova 20/22, Brno, Czech Republic Dear friends, we invite you to take part in our international event The competition will take place in our hall: 22, Kounicova Brno, on Saturday, November the 17th, 2018 This is a competition in artistic gymnastics for boys- and girls-teams (3+1). The result of a team is composed of the three best scores on each piece of apparatus. At the same time this competition will be the qualifying competition for the finals held on Sunday, November the 18th, 2018 The best 12 girls and the best 12 boys will have right to compete in the final competition but max. two from one team. This shall be a competition for mixed pairs (competition format is that of Grand Prix organised by our club for senior gymnasts each year): 12 pairs will be set up by drawing of lots. The competition will proceed in three rounds. In each round the competitors start from zero. In the first round every gymnast performs his or her routine on two different pieces. The ranking is obtained according to the sum of all 4 scores gained by the pair. 8 best placed pairs pass to the second round and perform their routine on the third piece, different from the two used in the first round. And finally the best 4 pairs pass to the third round. Here the boys competitors have to compete on the fourth piece again a different one from the previous three pieces, but girls can repeat a piece already done. Technical requirements: Girls competition: is proposed for girls born in 2006 and later (younger). The exercises requirements and evaluation according to the valid FIG juniors Code of Points, qualification is competition 1 and the finals competition 3. (The height of the vaulting table is 125 cm.) Boys competition: is proposed for boys born in 2004 and later (younger). The exercises requirements and evaluation according to the valid FIG juniors Code of Points, qualification is competition 1 and the finals competition 3. (The height of the vaulting table is 125-135 cm.)
Costs: For all the participants from abroad our club Sokol Brno I will provide accommodation and all the meals beginning with dinner on Friday and ending with lunch on Sunday. Travel expenses are to be covered by respective delegation (one team being composed of 4 athletes maximum, 1 coach and 1 judge). We foresee the arrival of delegations on Friday and departure on Sunday afternoon (in case of earlier arrival or later departure the respective extra costs should be covered by respective delegation). Each club can send just one male team and one female team. There will be a competition fee at the amount of 90 euros per gymnast and 1 coach/1 team, 150 euros per other person, there is no fee for judges. A team without a judge, will be charged 50 euros fine. Please note that the total number of teams in each category is limited (girls 16, boys 14).
