6 Talk About It Halloween Our Halloween party was great, thanks to everybody that dressed up and to the Perry Center class that came trick or treating. We love to see all the costumes and boy did they get candy! Jerry and Bernice Karen S. Bronner s Our annual trip to Bronner s in Frankenmuth was a beautiful day. It was 65 and sunny, not really the kind of weather to get you in the Christmas spirit, but when you walk into the store you cannot help but get excited for the holidays. We had a nice lunch at Cracker Barrel, then fun shopping. Verle (or Verlette) and Vern the entertainer Lauren dances in her flapper dress Selma passing out candy Barb C.

7 Holiday Apartment Tour If you would like to showcase your holiday decorations, please sign up in the Lobby book! On December 22nd at 10:30 we will all meet in the lobby, even if you have your apartment down to tour. We will walk the building and stop at each apartment that has signed up. It is always a lot of fun and great to see the wonderful decorations. Veterans Plaques We had a wonderful turn out at our Wall of Honor Ceremony! Thank you to Doug, a fellow veteran from Patriot Ambulance service, for making it a special day, and to all the family members that came! Just a Reminder... PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN FRONT CIRCLE DRIVE Just a friendly reminder that the front entrance is for quick pickups and drop-offs only. EMS must have access as much as possible for the safety of residents. Cars parked at the front entrance for extended periods risk being towed. Hand Washing By Brian Rosso Hand washing is the best way to stay healthy and avoid germs. Below are some tips for washing your hands: Use water that is at least 100 degrees F. Use plenty of soap. Make sure to scrub your hands for 10 to 15 seconds. Singing the Happy Birthday song twice to yourself is a good way to time your hand scrubbing. Always rinse your hands well after scrubbing. Turn off water faucets with a paper towel. If you have to open the bathroom door upon exit, use a paper towel to open the door, which helps keep your hands clean. Germs can stay alive on our hands for up to three hours. Have a safe and clean hand winter! Veterans Added to the Wall of Honor Verle B. Richard P. Fred I. John R. Robert J. Bill S. Raymond K. Donald C. Joseph N. Reminder! There are no assigned seats at breakfast...if someone is in the seat you usually sit in, go find a different seat. Please do not save seats. Breakfast is from 8:00-9:30 am. Coffee is ready and available when breakfast begins at 8:00. This is everyone s home, so please treat others with kindness.
