1. What is International Road Racing Championship The International Road Racing Championship (IRRC) is a championship which is held over 6 events (see calendar) and which are registered in the FIM Europe or FIM calendar. The contests are allowed by the national federation of the respective nations and meet the requirements of these federations. The organisation is in the hands of Hamove Hengelo Gld (Nl), Frohburger Dreieck (D) and K.V. Ostend Motor Sport vzw (B). 2. Schedule 2016 This year s schedule is: 30 april & 1 may : Hengelo Holland 15 & 16 mai : Oss - Holland 22, 23 & 24 july : Chimay Belgium 6 & 7 august : Horice Czech Republic 20 & 21 august : Imatra Finland 24 & 25 september : Frohburg Germany 3. Licenses It is mandatory that each participant has a license issued by a European federation, recognized by the FIM Europe or FIM. The participant needs the authorization of his national federation in order to go abroad and to participate in contests appearing on the calendar of the FIM and FIM Europe. The allocated license has to allow the participant to line up in the Supersport and / or Superbike class. 4. Races 6 contests are scheduled (see calendar) and the programme provides for 2 races in each contest. The races are driven according to the FIM regulations. 5. Training For every contest, at least two trainings of minimum 20 minutes are foreseen. Recording of the time is done by means of a transponder. Before every training or race, it is mandatory that each participant has a well-functioning and adequately charged transponder mounted on the motorcycle with which he will participate. If a participant decides to use a personal transponder, he has to pass the number of the personal transponder to the time keeping at least one hour before the first training.

A contestant has to participate to at least one timed training during an event before he can participate in the races. For each event there is a limited number of allowed participants. This means that it is possible that a candidate cannot participate to the race because he or she is not qualified. Participants who ride the whole championship (championship riders) have no priority over contestants who only participate in one or a few races (guest rider). The qualification is determined by the fastest time of each contestant. It is the decision of the organizer of the event to provide an additional competition for non-qualified contestants. This is not an obligation. If the organizer decides to provide 1 additional race for the non-qualified pilots, these pilots can only have once the points for the championship. If a championship rider or guest rider did not qualify, he cannot claim a refund of his fee. The limited number of participants on each circuit will always be respected. If we have enough Championship riders for the event, no guestriders will be allowed, except when the organizer provides 2 additional races for the non-qualified riders. The number of participants on each circuit is limited to: - Hengelo : 30 riders - Oss : 28 riders - Chimay : 40 riders - Horice : 32 riders - Imatra : will be announced later - Frohburg : 36 riders 6. Technical Inspection The motorcycle and all accessories have to be presented for inspection by the Technical Inspection before they can participate in the training. The choice of the tyres is not bound to any regulations. Supersport class has to meet the following requirement: From 401 cc to 600 cc 4-stroke 4 cylinder From 501 cc to 700 cc 4- stroke 3 cylinder From 601 cc to 750 cc 4- stroke 2 cylinder Superbike class has to meet the following requirement: From 601 cc to 1.000 cc 4- stroke 4 cylinder From 751 cc to 1.000 cc 4- stroke 3 cylinder From 851 cc to 1.200 cc 4- stroke 2 cylinder All motorcycles have to meet the safety requirements as imposed by their national federation.
