Preseason and Post Season Practice (1) PRE SEASON: 1. Strength/Conditioning- Speed, Agility, Stamina 2. Field Sense- History of Lacrosse, Rules, Concepts 3. Gameplay- Generalizing Fundamentals and Stick Skills to gameplay 4. Team Building- Looking for players that represent THE GAME of Lacrosse and STINGRAY NATION. Our goal is to have a functional TEAM established by the end of the first week of the regular season. A TEAM comprised of aligned; morals, values, boundaries, and GOALS.

Leadership Looking for Leadership within the Team Official Lacrosse Leadership will be developed within the first week of regular season. Rules will be created and implemented by Leadership Members of the Lacrosse Team (attendance, behavior, grades) Committees will be created (Philanthropy, Discipline, Fun Police) Leadership meetings 1/week
General Understanding Preseason Attendance DOES NOT Guarantee a Roster Slot for the 2019 season AC Boys Lacrosse will consist of 25 active Players 10 Players are on the field at one time Team Managers are Needed Rosters will be posted outside room 212 on Jan 30 Roster Slots are established by Coaching Staff based on athletic, behavioral, academic needs to represent the THE GAME and STINGRAY NATION accordingly.

Money & Equipment We will need to focus on Fundraisers this season as well as stingray booster membership from families ($50-$75-$100) due before first game 2/18. Banners and Flags of sponsorship will be created. Each Player that makes the team will be required to sign up for Stingray Boosters for ($50.00 minimum). Each Player that makes the team will be required to purchase their own stick and helmet($150.00) Each Player that makes the team will be required to purchase spirit wear for the season. ($40.00+). An inventory check will be taken prior to the season and the needs of AC Lacrosse HOUSE EQUIPTMENT will be created. It is our goal to raise funds for permanent AC Lacrosse Equipment (Helmets, Chest/Shoulder Pads, Elbow Pads, Gloves, Jerseys) so players don t have to individually purchase them if not needed. Each Player that makes the team will be required to participate in 100% of all fundraiser/spirit/social nights throughout the season.
Paperwork All Athletic Paperwork Must be completed and turned into the Athletic Clearance Site before Participating. If Athlete has participated in a Fall or Winter Sport, the paperwork should be on file, please let Coach Rowan know asap. Physicals dated within 1 year of season is good to go.
First Official Meeting Jan 31 and BEYOND Plan on the following after making the TEAM: - Behavior Contract (developed by leadership) - Grade Policy (developed by leadership) - Attendance Policy (developed by leadership) - Updated Presentation for Goal Setting During Regular Season. - DOING WORK AND REPRENTING YOUR TEAM 365 24/7

Take a blank folder Write on the tab: -Last Name, Frist Name, Grade (FR,SO,JR,SR) Write on bottom right of front folder - Parent/Guardian Names (phone, email) - Your (phone, email) Focus on writing clean and legible This is your first Direct Order. Please comply accordingly and turn in to a Coach before leaving. An email will be sent to you and your parents with the attached power point. Once this is turned in, you will be on the Preseason Roster and will be receiving updates. Attendance will also be documented according to all preseason and tryout dates offered.
