Thank you for your interest in the East Coast Nitros, Inc. The East Coast Nitros is a nonprofit organization established to provide top notch cheerleading and tumbling instruction to the youth in the state of Delaware. Our organization was established in 2002 and continues to grow each and every year. We have won hundreds of local and National titles over the years. Our winning tradition on the National level, combined with athletes continuously progressing their skills, and our quality coaches providing results is what sets us a part from the rest. We currently have teams ranging from levels 1-5, beginner to advanced. Our teams are always highly competitive within their respective divisions. The East Coast Nitros provides the best and most disciplined training in the area. We take pride in our ability to focus specific attention on each individual. We teach our students to excel in all areas of cheerleading and in life. Our students are self driven and motivated to achieve their goals. We strongly believe that their success originates from the dedication and commitment of the athlete, coach as well as the parent. We encourage positive attitudes and respectful behavior among our students. Our goal is to develop the best squads possible, as well as instill qualities, values and friendships that can last a lifetime all the while teaching proper morals, ethics, sportsmanship, commitment and responsibility. About Our Programs East Coast Nitros has two different type of programs to best suit your time and financial needs. ALL STAR PREP TEAMS Teams as low as $100 per month Athletes practice once a week for 1.5 hours Season runs June through April 4 One Day "local" competitions within a 90 mile radius of the gym **NEW** New for this season we will be offering higher level all star prep teams **please see pricing sheet for more details** FULL YEAR CHEER TEAMS Teams $250 per month Athletes practice twice per week Season runs June through April/beginning of May 8-10 local, Regional and National Competitions that are either one day or two day events, locations such as Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Atlantic City, Ocean City and Virginia Beach, These are our signature teams levels 2-5 that have won many National and World Titles including US Finals Overall winners, 6 appearances at The Summit, first team in the state to go to The One Finals and first team and only team from DE to compete at The Cheerleading Worlds 5 years in a row **please see pricing sheet for more details**
How to Register for our Program Our membership registration process is as easy as 1-2-3 1. Participate in one of our tryout sessions $25 for new Nitros/ free for Returners 2. Complete and bring in the necessary paperwork including the all star application and listed documents on the following pages 3. Attend the Mandatory Parent Meeting on Wednesday May 25th 5:00PM All Star Prep Parents 6:00PM Full Year Nitro Parents New and Returners 4. Pay the non-refundable commitment fee by May 31, 2016 5. The 2016-2017 season will start Wednesday June 1st Time TBD
How do Tryouts Work? Tryouts can be a scary word sometimes. We like to think of it more as a placement rather than trying out for a team. We want to place your child on a team that is best suited for their age and ability level. There is nothing more rewarding than being on a team and making new friends with athletes that are the same age and have the same skills. Watching them grow is an amazing thing to see each and every year. At East Coast Nitros we take pride in having a team for everyone. We believe with hard work, determination, and dedication on our part and on yours that we can teach you all of the aspects of cheerleading. This includes basic to advanced skills in cheerleading stunting and tumbling. Don't know how to tumble, dont worry. With our formula you will have that backhandspring in no time. Got a full? We have you covered too, we have taught many cheerleaders from the ground up from no tumbling to specialty to double full passes. We have over a 95% success rate when it comes to tumbling. Got skills? Let us help you get there. On the first day of tryouts we will be looking at three aspects of cheer leading; tumbling, jumps and dance. Your athlete will show off their best tumbling pass, both standing and running. We will teach them the jump sequence and dance sequence that we will want to see. Our knowledgable staff will help you throughout the process and make sure you are very comfortable with your tryout.
How do Tryouts Work? (continued) During Call backs we will evaluate you on your stunting ability. We will have everyone working together in stunt groups to help determine team placement for the season. There are a lot of elements to putting together an excellent team. We need a great combination of good tumblers, flyers, backspots and bases. After callbacks we will post team placements. Please remember you can be moved up at anytime during the season. No matter what your ability is we have a team for you. No experience is necessary. What to Bring to Tryouts? Paperwork: New Nitros Head Shot/a picture of yourself Copy of your Birth Certificate New Nitros and Returning Nitros The All Star Application (included in this packet) Copy of your Insurance Card Medical Waiver (found on our website under general info/forms) Dress: Wear clothing you can stunt and tumble in T shirt/shorts and Clean Sneakers/Cheer Shoes Hair pulled up in a ponytail
Important Upcoming Dates Memorial Day Closed May 26-31 4th of July Closed July 1-10 Labor Day Closed September 2-5 Nascar September 30 October 1, 2 (volunteers needed) Halloween Closed October 31 Thanksgiving Closed November 18-27 Christmas/New Years Closed December 23-January 1 FYI... **November 7-11 is a mandatory week of practices we normally have pep rally that weekend **November 28-December 2 is a mandatory week of practices we normally start competing the first weekend in December **December 5-9 is a mandatory week of practices we normally also compete the second weekend in December Ideally families will schedule summer vacation plans and activities around these dates to ensure full team practices. We have added in weeks to provide time for families to enjoy the summer while also ensuring that our athletes maximize the benefits of our summer training. Our goal is to condition our athletes, build skills and build them as a team during the summer. Athletes who continually miss may fall behind other athletes. Please note: Regardless of enrollment date, families will be responsible for the FULL TUITION schedule and will be required to pay the arrears on the date of start. Given this, families are strongly discouraged from waiting until after the summer to join.

We break the payments into monthly installments for your convenience. We are the best priced most competitive gym in the State of Delaware.
