EN YEPP Rack 35 kg 28 with Easyfit window User manual The Yepp Rack 35 kg is a solid luggage carrier which can be fitted on most city- and hybrid bicycles. The carrier is not suitable for lightweight bicycles or racing bicycles. When in doubt always consult the bicycle supplier. The Yepp Rack 35 kg has an Easyfit window so that the Yepp Maxi Easyfit and the Yepp Junior Easyfit can be installed immediately. Installation instructions for the Yepp 35 kg carrier The Yepp 35 kg carrier can be installed on the rear fork uprights using the M6 screws provided. Choose one of the positions below, depending on the bicycle; - option 1: see image 1 - option 2: see image 2 Choose the correct pipe length so that the top side of the carrier is horizontal (image 3). Consult a specialist bicycle store for correct installation if required. Torque all screws to 4NM to secure them and check this regularly. WARNINGS Never modify the Yepp 35 kg carrier yourself; Keep in mind that cycling with a luggage carrier with a load can influence the actual cycling behaviour, specifically when pedalling away or taking turns; The Yepp Rack may not be fitted to a moped, scooter or lightweight bicycles with carbon fibre frames or racing bicycles. The Yepp rack is not suitable for E-pedelecs either; Warning: do not transport objects or persons that weigh more than 35 kg; Check regularly to ensure that all fastening components are still secured sufficiently; Only use the Yepp Rack 35 kg on a bicycle that can handle the extra weight and that is suitable for the cyclist. Consult the bicycle manual or ask the bicycle manufacturer for more detailed information; Before transporting individuals or your load, first take a test ride to check that everything has been installed correctly and that the carrier is not in the way when cycling; Use a robust 2-leg standard; Possible damaged parts should be replaced immediately. Consult your dealer; Use the Yepp wheel guard at all times when transporting a child; Check that it is legal to use the Yepp Rack 35 kg in the country where you intend to use it; Ensure that clothing, feet, shoe laces or toys cannot come into contact with moving or rotating parts; Always replace the carrier after a fall or accident, even if there is no visible damage; Consult the relevant user instructions for correct installation of the Yepp Maxi Easyfit or Yepp Junior Easyfit. EN GUARANTEE Our products are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for one year after purchase. If you register the product on our website: www.yepp.nl the warranty period will be extended by an additional year. We will gladly replace the product free of charge if it has a manufacturing defect. If it is not (reasonably) expected that the product can be repaired, we will replace the part to our sole discretion. If a product should become defective as a result of careless or rough use or as a result of an accident, neglect or negligence or if the warranty period has expired, we will be happy to repair the product at a reasonable fee. Who is covered? The original purchaser who purchased the product from an authorised dealer in the same country as the buyer. Proof of purchase is always required. Production or material defects and when we have confirmed that the product has always been used under normal conditions as described in the instructions and that it has been properly maintained. What is not covered? Second owner or modified products, poorly maintained products, improper or abnormal use, faded material, failure to follow the instructions, overloading, damage caused by transport, including air transport and freight.
