Dana White says UFC best live event in all of sports Dana White is a promoter and he does what promoters are supposed to do. Whether it s making the most lucrative fights in the sport or building up a fighter who may not be ready for the spotlight, White will do, and sometimes say, whatever it takes to keep the machine running. It s one of the reason s why Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is the success it is today. In fact, White believes he may have built the most entertaining entity in all of sports. One that outshines the likes of the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL, among others. I know this sounds completely arrogant but we re the best live event in all of sports, White said during a recent appearance on Barstool Sports podcast,. People who go to NFL games, college football, basketball, all this stuff, there s nothing like going to a UFC event. A UFC event live is ridiculous. In the 18-year history of this company, I ve never had a television executive, a sponsor, whatever it might be, come to an event and leave going I don t ever want to come to one of these again, If you haven t been to a live UFC event you re truly missing out. But to be honest, all of those other sports offer some pretty entertaining stuff, especially when the action spills over into the playoffs. That said, UFC does offer a unique opportunity to witness the most pure form of sport; hand-to-hand combat. Not many people encounter that type of sport and violence in their lives and it enthralls them. Some bite off more than they can chew not having experienced the carnage in the past but most fight fans leave their first UFC event in need of a second. Even though there s been some pretty bad UFC events in the past, the promotion is fairly consistent with putting on good fights. Not every card is going to feature a Conor McGregor or Ronda Rousey, but the action itself usually delivers. WWW.LMDMAG.COM Lauri Markkanen s 31-point game leads the Bulls to victory Chicago Bulls forward Lauri Markkanen showed his brilliance tonight with another 30-point game his second consecutive game with at least 30 points. Chicago Bulls forward Lauri Markkanen had one of the best games of his young career Sunday evening in a 112-92 blowout win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, as he helped the Bulls to consecutive victories for the first time this season with his second straight 30-point game. Markkanen would score a total of 31 points on 11-of-18 shooting from the field including 5-of- 10 from beyond the arc. He also contributed four rebounds and three assists. The second-year big played a huge part in the Bulls victory for the second straight game. He was one of five Bulls in double figures scoring, which included all but one starter. Kris Dunn and Justin Holiday also played big parts in the Bulls win with 17 and 15 points respectively, which included a near tripledouble from Dunn who added eight rebounds and seven assists to his 17 points. Despite those solid performances, though, it was Markkanen s 31 points that really got the Bulls going from the jump and kept them going throughout the game. The Bulls superstar in the making scored 15 of his 31 points in the first half, including a stretch of eight in the mid to late second quarter that would tighten up the game before halftime. It was really a stretch where he scored 10 points in the first five minutes of the third quarter, though, that sealed the deal on the victory. This was a big night for both Markkanen and the Bulls. The Bulls finally won consecutive games for the first time all season, and Markkanen had back-to-back games with at least 30 points for the first time in his career. 5 CREDIT: Nello Rubio https://pippenainteasy.com/2018/12/23/chicago-bulls-lauri-markkanens-second-straight-30-plus-point-game-leads-to-victory/
