The only thing that the yearbook is asking is for you to send in a photo-booth picture of you or you and your friends You can be serious, crazy, funny, or sophisticated, whatever you want to do send it in Although you can choose who you take it with, the person/people you take it with must approve of being in the yearbook. There have been lots of interesting projects, turned in and more to come. There have been projects from creating video games to making robots, all projects are unique and creative. The Science Fair is a great way to learn about science, while having fun. The teacher think that this year s Science Fair is going to be a success and very interesting. This year you get to choose what category you want to do. Boy s Basketball The boy s basketball team has started the season off with a winning streak. 3-0 the team is exciting for their next home game which is Dec 15th against Statesville. The team s coach, Mr. Sherrill, wants more people to come out and support the team. I want more people in the stands said Mr. Sherrill. Brawley, Lakeshore-24 Brawley-22 Girls Basketball By: Natalie Batten and Carolyn Gordon Mr. Fatton and Ms. Robertson coach the girls basketball team here at BMS. Some information about the coaches are, Ms. Robertson is the varsity girls basketball coach at BMS. She has been coaching basketball for 20 years and really likes coaching the girls and pushing them hard to do there best. She enjoys coaching the girls because as she said they are very coachable, and likes working with Mr. Fatton. Also, Mr. Fatton the JV girls basketball coach has never coached before except once when he was a student coach in Haiti and their court was made of concrete. He believes his team understands when they work as a team and are mentally stable that they will win. He enjoys working with them a lot and he pushes them very hard. Mr. Fatton and all the girls on the team consider themselves family. As the season continues so far the team works hard and practices every day after school working on the game plan for the next game. It has affected them so far, the JV team having 2 games one that didn t count against East Middle. They won and the score was 18 to 10 having Kayla Myers scoring 8 points and Katie Mitchell and Alison Hicks scoring 4 points. For the Varsity team they won 35-31 and Lauren Sullivan had scored 10 pts and Brooke Poteat scored 13 pts. The BMS Girls Basketball team is ready for the rest of the season 3

Teacher Of The Week By: Sophia Iacovelli Our teacher of the week this week is Ms. Hinson. Ms. Hinson s birthday is in August. She enjoys many things like football, teaching, Madam Secretary. She went to many universities, the University of South Carolina, York Technical College, and Winthrop College. She has lived in several different states because her dad was in the air force. She was born in London, England. She is most looking forward to the Washington DC trip this year. This is her 16th year teaching at Brawley Her favorite book is The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. She loves to spend time with her family and read. Her favorite subjects to teach are social studies and language arts. Her favorite thing about Brawley is that she loves the community and the whole Brawley family. We are all happy to have her teaching here too 4
Wrestling By: Peyton Harvey and Jasmine Howard Now in the second part of their season, the Wrestling team remains undefeated now 7-0. The undefeated wrestlers are Ivan Dixon (Captain), Will Edinston (Captain), Darren Sloop (Captain) and Colin Zollner. Each of the wrestlers 7-0. Coached by Billy Moore, the wrestling team is expected to go undefeated this season.
